forgive me, as i dont know too much about UFC, but damn, evans DOMINATED that fight ... there was 2 small chances for a submission move by ortiz, but besides that, ortiz was getting his ass kicked!! that was impressive

Agree.. Ortiz can talk shit before fights, but if he loses, he gives credit where its due..

Evans looked great for being off for 14 months and switching camps.. Cant wait for the Title Fight.

evans looked good for the most part, and hats off to him.

jones/evans could be (i don't know) an interesting fight assuming jones gets by jackson. quinton is a gamer, but i really think he is over the hill and i think he will have to catch jones with one of those career defining magic punches to win. as with most fighters, i don't see evans matching up well with jones. evans is really fast, but he's never been much of a technical striker in my estimation (e.g. the machida fight). jones' ground dominance has been good beyond belief so far, and some of those guys were really strong grapplers.

very impressed with Rashad last night, only the second fighter to stop Tito if I recall..

that being said, I don't see anyone beating Jones at this point in time.. guy is a beast

If anyone can beat Jones, its Rashad... He knows his weaknesses. He is also a better wrestler. Will be a great fight if he gets by Rampage

it's an interesting thing with wrestlers. some guys have off the charts collegiate credentials, but it doesn't always translate to mma success at the highest levels. jake rosholt may be a good example. jon jones isn't one of those div I greats that we so often hear about, but managed to throw a highly decorated wrestler in ryan bader all over the building. you can't really tell until they get in there as they say. rampage appears to have slowed considerably based on the hamill fight.
