Dow Jones!!

Dow Jones is down the worst in 10 years which was Obama's 1st year. How are your 401k's doing now. This dumb ass Trump was riding high on Obama's coatails for 2 years. Now it is all crumbling down no wonder why the republican party is split. Now if you want to make excuses please pick a number.

Still up over 2 year span

Funny how it started to crash after dems took majority in the house and interest rates went up because the economy was doing so well

But don't look in that direction

Facts are facts.

Trump election day DJIA 17,888.

From Trump election to day dems gain control of House market up over 8000 points.

Since dems took control of the House market down 3500 points.

Coincidence? I think not. People with money invested don't want dems controlling anything. All dems want to do is obstruct President Trump. They could care less about helping the American people.

You don't have to say something directly for it not to be implied. If that isn't the case then elaborate on what that post meant.

Do your homework and search DJIA election day November 8, 2016. Not even close to 20,000. Rode Obama's coattails, don't make me laugh. Market was down 9 straight days before President Trump was elected then went on a huge run after his victory.

lots of day trading and /or short term opportunities for gains and losses when its so volatile like this
wouldn't it be nice to just get that steady rise
economy is still fine .. no panic on my part

Sundance. You said earlier "when he was elected." Now it's on inauguration day. Which is it?

So reading comprehension is your problem. You don't know the difference between election and inauguration.

Investors were excited immediately after President Trump's election and knowing stocks would do better with him in office they began to rise right after the election. So don't try to let the dems take credit for the 2000 point rise between the time the President was elected and the time he took office. Everyone knows it was his election that brought on the market rally.

Even CNN had to admit Trump was the reason for the rise.

Wall Street welcomes Trump with a bang

18332 on Election Day and it went up a few hundred the day after the election

I can not speak for anyone else but my 401K has thrived big time under trump. I have most of it in high risk stocks but high risk equal high reward too. The last couple of years have been awesome for mine. Did it lose a little in the last month or two? Sure, but it barely put a dent in the 2 year surge it has had. No complaints here.

These threads are seriously beyond stupid sometimes and imo all they do is backfire on the haters. I realize you are on a daily journey to tear trump down but there are much better battles than this one. I think Obama raised the Dow around 8,700 from his initial Election Day until the trump Election Day (8 years).

In just 2 years trump has raised it about 5,100. And we are celebrating his downfall with it? If you think the Dow will never see bumps in the road, even in a great economy, you are truly clueless as to how it works. And that goes for anybody. He has done a great job with the economy, jobs and pay scale since taking over. You want to bitch about other things fine, but questioning these are not really a debate.

The DJ did peak to a high of 19877. in 2016 so I was close to 20000 I said it was. When he became President the Dow was around 9000.

Peak means nothing. On Election Day it was 18332. It took off from there after trump was elected because people were banking on a positive economy based on his election

When Trump got elected he had a an economy that was on the rise thanks to Obama and rode his coattails. When Obama was elected unemployment was 7.8 when he left it was cut in half. Remember Obama took over Bush's shit who I voted for. That was a big mistake.

All you can do is compare Election Day to Election Day and I did that above. Never said Obama did a good or bad job. Just pointing out the facts and numbers for each. As they say in sports, you are what your record says you are. In this case it is the numbers and trump has done a great job with the Dow, the economy and jobs. I don’t care who took over from who or any of that shit because the next guy up is always capable of fucking it all up too and so far the economy has thrived under trump and that is just a fact.

By your logic Obama just rode Bush's coattails and all his gains were based on Bush's recovery that was already in place.

No Republican ever does anything but ride coattails. But when Democrats do well ... man please. Quit being a typical liberal.
