The Department of Homeland Security estimated it at $21.6 billion. And my # is generous since it doesn’t factor in taxes/Go Fund Me cut. Not to mention the Department of Homeland Security cannot accept gifts without an appropriation from Congress. I respect the veteran for his service but clearly he’s not the sharpest tool in the shed

"The Donald J. Chump Border Wall"

An all time glory ego for this idiot.

That's pretty cool. If he isn't able to donate for the wall I am sure he will do something good with it

In no way am I saying the donations hit the targeted billion, but this is a perfect example that there are tons of people that support the idea of a wall.

All you need to know is the costs alone make this a pipe dream. This country is currently $21.8 trillion in debt and has much bigger concerns than spending $21 billion+ on a wall

Illegal immigration costs the U.S. $116 billion per year. Whether people like to admit it or not, it's a problem.

How much money do you anticipate building a wall helps save us?

I'm guessing if they take 27 to build it, they would most likely knock that off the 116 total and it would pay for itself in a year

I don’t like assumptions from strangers and I don’t trust Trump’s estimates considering he’s $10 billion + off on the cost projection lol

Those numbers have nothing to do with trump. They are from the center of illegal immigration studies

You're right, it is a problem. But a wall alone doesn't fix the problem. The border needs more agents, better technology, more equipment, drones, etc. If we really want to get serious about illegal immigration, we should start with those who overstay their visas. That's a much bigger problem that people crossing the border by far.

Pretty sure the funding includes things like stronger border patrol andre. And nothing is solved overnight but starting somewhere sure in hell beats ignoring it forever.

Well that didn't happen and most said it probably wouldn't while he was running. It still doesn't change the facts on immigration. He won 30 states based on stopping illegal immigration as his main theme. I think people want it.

Majority of people do not want a wall, especially not for 20-25B

The majority of people who think this way are the dems. Only because they think there giving President Trump the finger and aren't thinking of U.S. security needs.

If we build a wall on the Mexican border why not Canada's border too. What is fair is fair.

Andre because the Trumpies don't want to hear about it. Because half of the Trumpies won't even vote for that piece of shit again. There is one on this thread that is gripping like a bitch

What liberals donít want to hear is that Shumar, Pelosi and the beloved B O wanted a wall too (but letís not talk about that)
