Now let's see if the left compromises with even the smallest funding for a border wall.

One of our worst traits as Canadians is we’re content with anything that happens to us by our government.

One of the highest taxed countries in the world. Content. Gave multiple known ISIS terrorists millions of dollars and let them in our country. Content. Less and less free speech to the point where we can now go to jail for using the wrong pronoun for someone. Content. Government gives out more foreign aid annually than uses for infrastructure in its own country and military. Content. The list goes on.

The only thing that will wake up a Canadian is if one of our hockey teams, the Raptors or Blue Jays win/lose the championship. Then we riot.

I was just in Vancouver for work.. i've never seen such crazy house prices.
Owning a home is out of reach for those who make decent money.
But i really like Canada and the Canadians are good people on the whole

We're the friendliest bunch of assholes you'll ever meet!

And, yeah, housing prices are ridiculous pretty much nation wide. Add that to the list.

Funny to see some bashing Those north of our border for posting about our problems when many of those same people have said that we should be like them!!! hell after reading their posts seems their country is just as fucked up as ours and in some way we are worse and in some they are. Personally I like to hear from those without a dog in the hunt. You get an outside perspective.

I think some Canadian condo prices are up due to Chinese people with money buying Vancouver condo units because they are something to buy to hide their money. I saw a video of a man with a 30-gallon trash bag of hundreds from a casino where Chinese players were betting both sides of the roulette wheel to get clean money. The casinos were happy because 5% of the spins come up green.

Great place to purchase a gun and wear a mask. You don't even have to prove who you are if you are deemed a certain race.

Bozzie: "I was just in Vancouver for work. I've never seen such crazy house prices. But I really like Canada and the Canadians are good people on the whole."

I LOVE Vancouver, got two years in before I was declined for an extended work visa. Stayed in Yorktown for 6 months, nice area for dining, but $100 for a haircut in the snooty highrise I was in so I asked my employers to find me a different area. They landed me an apartment in Kits, very down to earth place, a block from the beach, had grocery stores, restaurants, bars, bookstores all within walking distance. Cleanest mass transit I have ever seen, buses and trains - and on time.
Great city, great people, I'd be there still if I could.

Dropping this note because of a comment you made, similar to what I find myself saying a lot these days - I'm from NJ, but "stuck" in California right now.
The traffic sucks. The drivers are terrible (I have a theory that there is no driver test required here. When you turn 17 the state sends you your license in the mail with a note that says, "Congrats - drive safe."
On my short, two-mile commute each night I play a game - can I make it home without seeing at least two drivers without their lights on? It never happens, there are always at least two, texting or yakking away on their cell phones.
Taxes are outrageous and the cost of living is ridiculous.
Can't get Texas Weiners, good veal or Prosciutto De Parma, and they think Dickie's is good BBQ.

I heard that... traffic and tax system suck. Closest thing you can get to Texas food is, WhatAFuckin'Burger! And,lucky if you can find one of those.

Funny I stayed in a Airbnb in Kits too .. Nice life in Kits.
Don't get me started on Los Angeles, Taxes the homeless and California building regulations, I'm planning my escape soon enough.
There is no BBQ in LA

Everyone who likes Vancouver should watch the TV series on Netflix called Continuum. Good show first 2-3 years and it jumps back and forth from 2012 when it was made (condo prices $1.mil) to 2077 where it ends in real life 2016 (condo prices $1.6 mil).

MAGA kids make national news, and this makes nothing:

Parent fired twice at police before being killed outside Eugene school, DA says | kgw.com

Explosives found outside Eugene police station

Antifa Attacks: IEDs Found At Eugene, OR Police Headquarters After Shooting - The Truth About Guns

in short:

- ANTIFA leader goes to the school of his daughter for whatever reason
- has zero custody
- 2 officers force him to leave school grounds
- ANTIFA leader pulls out a loaded gun (has a backpack full of ammo). Fires it twice at the cops
- As one of the officers and ANTIFA leader wrestle, the other cop shoots the guy in the temple instantly killing him
- DA says the cops had no choice, and the cops saved the lives of each other and possibly a lot of young children
- ANTIFA members go crazy saying it was unjustified
- a week or so later multiple IEDs found at Eugene, Oregon police HQ

How isn't this national news or ANTIFA declared a domestic terrorist organization?

The guy kind of looks like a soyboy version of Corey from The Trailer Park Boys
