Monday NHL Action!!!

No posted plays yesterday. Played the Bos/Phi Over with both teams on no rest, but couldn't post because CM wasn't responding at the time.

Three tonight....

Winnipeg +115 Mason is the better of the two Jets netminders this season, and he has a low, low 1.39 GAA and .950 SV% in his career vs the Canes. Mason is 3-0 against Carolina already this year, allowing a total of 4 goals in those 3 appearances. Road team is 11-4 the last 15 meetings.

Detroit -145 Wings 30-12 hosting the Blues. Howard 19-3, 1.62 GAA at home this yr. Halak improving, but he's just 2-8 on the road this yr., and Detroit has really lit him up before. Halak is 2-4 career vs Det, but in the 2 wins he got support of 5 goals and 10 goals. Detroit scores 4 gpg at home, and St Louis is not scoring 5, and especially not 10, tonight against Howard.

Nashville -1.5 +125 Rinne 13-5 career vs Clb; Mason 5-10 vs Nash. Mason is 5-19 overall this season, and he's 1-8, 4.64 GAA on road. The Pred are 27-3 hosting the BJs. Nashville on a real nice roll, and 6 of their last 7 wins were by 2 goals or more, so I'll avoid the juice and feel fairly safe with the PL.

GL Pucksters!!!

Thanks, betonlife.

The Over? Detroit has always scored a good deal on Halak, and the 4 gpg at home makes the total of 5 tempting, but I would worry that Stl doesn't score more than 1. Blues go Under a ton on the road.

Could be a 3-0, 3-1 type of game, but then again, could be 4-2, 5-1. Either way, I like Detroit.

GL!
