That is an interesting one, I could see both Ilya Kovelchuk & Frolov from this years class going home. But in my opnion, since they are young, it would be just a year or two and then come back to the NHL.

Agree CC. the NHL market is small for both of them and ilya just wants to much money. You cant *** a player 8 mil in the nhl with the salary cap where it is and still hope to have a championship team.

There were rumors that Nikolai Kulemin (admittedly no superstar) was also toying with going to the KHL before re-upping with the Maple Leafs.

Nabokov stinks. He made great saves when they were up by 4 goals, but crumbled when it mattered most. No big loss
