NHL Free Agency

Hey Boys,

Is it me, or has this been one of the most dullest & non exciting free agency periods in recent memory? I think this is going to be the start of the trend for future years as all of the young players are signing 10+ year deals.

The only players that will be out there will be 3rd/4th line players & mid 30s on the decline star player. Hopefully, there will be some trades to come & some excitement too.

a little pontification here lord , but imo most fa's whether exciting by the news or not haven't made nary a bit of impact the original signings did..i'm a bit full now...but my original thought is that.....fa's just a good way to get paid after a good year's work or worse yet...after not a good year's work and a needy team hoping they rise once again....such a bore free agency imo....just sayin....

ok i'm done...cheers fellas..

I'm still trying to figure out what Anaheim is doing. Resigned Koivu and Mikkelson and picked up Toni Lydman and Trevor Smith.

Not sure if any of this is going to make a difference. Just hoping Teemu plays for one more with us!
