NHL Online Sports Betting

Hey Everyone,

Just had a quick question if anyone is able to answer it for me. I usually play porline but have begun taking interest in online sports betting on 5dimes. Looked over their description of how to play to get a better understanding but still dont understand exactly how the wager amount works. Do i have to bet $100+ each time (depending on the favoured team) or is that just used for an indicator for the payout ratio? I understand everything else about the betting such as the difference on betting (-145) and (+145), just wasnt sure if i had to bet these amount everytime.

No you can bet whatever amount you like. I play at Pinnacle and I believe there minimum is one dollar bets.

The American odds (-110, +130 ect.) is just a ratio like you said. If it makes it easier you can probably switch is to decimal odds (I know you can at Pinnacle).

There's a parlay calculator in the "betting" section at Capper's that will figure any American line into a payout factor. I've found it quite useful.
