Slam, on these forums it does. Every game someone "chokes" because they lost. It's actually borderline moronic how some of these guys do nothing but wait to post their stupid "LMAO @" threads or bump threads from like 4 years ago saying how great this guy is or bad this team is.

I totally agree with you on your point, but I'm sure you've seen more than enough threads on here to know that it's considered "choking" because some idiot on here will say it is, and then there'll be banter about it for awhile.

when you lose SIX straight Cup Finals, I think something was choked on somewhere along the line..........................one-eyed sausauge

The biggest "choke" was the Flyers losing to the Devils in the 2000 Eastern Conference finals when up 3-1.

The 2002 Philadelphia Flyers were the biggest chokes in Stanley Cup playoff history.

They made Philadelphia and the Flyers miserable last night.

Anyone that does that is a friend of mine.

What a thrill it was to see Danny Briere dejected. Selfishly, I pretended like Jeff Carter - with tears welling up in his eyes - was Brian Propp. And to see Mike Richards there, with his head hung in shame…what a joy. The only thing better would have been if Ken Linseman would have been there next to him.

The worst franchise in sports and the worst fans in sports got the Ned-Beatty-from-Deliverance treatment on Wednesday night.

And in overtime no less, where the heartbreak always produces geyser-like blood spurting.

All that orange in the stands…all that hope…all that belief.

Gone.

What a shame. bwahahahahahahahaha…

So make that six straight Stanley Cup championships the Flyers have lost.

I’m all for making it seven. Eight. Nine. And even ten.

And I hope Briere is there for all of that heartbreak.

My belief in the Hockey Gods was completely restored last night when Patrick Kane buzzed that puck in for the championship-winning goal.

All of my prayers have been answered.

Anyone but the f’ing Flyers.

Anyone.

Thank you Patrick Kane.

My new favorite player.

source is 610 AM WIP

and it was at the HOF for a month before anyone even noticed it.......................

The glitch was first spotted by a Blackhawks fan named Brendan Millhouser, who photographed the mistake and initially had his claim dismissed as a hoax by the Hockey Hall of Fame, which claimed the pictures were doctored.

Puck Daddy's Greg Wyshynski documented the entire story, and finally got the Hockey Hall of Fame to admit the mistake actually occurred.
