probably should also add to my above post, if the Pens were such a great franchise then why did they almost NOT exist in the early to mid 2000's? Seems in Pit, fans ONLY show up if the team is doing not good but GREAT! If it weren't for Mario the franchise would have folded. Philly NEVER had those issues when they bottomed out in the early 90's. At the time, the Flyers were one of the worst teams in the league yet packed the barn every night. Although, back then the playoff structure was much different. Philly would always have 20 more points in the standings then the Whalers, but because Quebec was so bad, Hartford would get in and Philly would sit at home. The good old divisional days

That kid holding that t-shirt looks like the paraplegic in a wheel cheer with his arms up in the air on the toilet bowl trophy in my fantasy football league. Sugar Ray....I bet that kid wasn't a fan in the mid 2000's
