A FWIW

HOFer Mikita said in an interview before the playoffs started, he was impressed MOST with Sharp and was thrilled the Hawks found a way to keep him long term.

To me personally, Sharp up there with Toews ahead of Kane even, takes too many nights off, one dimensional but absolutely a stud offensively, but Sharp has as good of skills, brains, physical and plays defence.

Dale Talon, who was theauthor of this Blackhawk team, said, "There are so many good young players in the system that shedding some due to salary cap problems is like prunning a rose bush" or words to that effect.

Hawks got over on Atlanta with this deal. Buff was good in the playoffs, but pretty much non-existent in the regular season. Every year he was out of shape for the first 2 months of the season. Let's see how he does when he's not on a line with Kane and Toews. Great move Hawks!!!
