Cappersmall League Championship

After being in this damn CM league for 5+ years, I have finally made the championship and I play the asshole who knocks me out every year (Ron Mexico). I think if I lose this one I have to walk away from fantasy sports forever lol.

Who do you guys like in matchup?

The Cat Pack
Fitzpatrick, Ryan QB BUF vs. NE
Blount, LeGarrette RB TB vs. SEA
Johnson, Chris RB TEN @KC
Johnson, Andre WR HOU @DEN
Wallace, Mike WR PIT vs. CAR
Moss, Santana WR WAS @JAC (or Mike Williams TB vs. SEA)
Witten, Jason TE DAL @ARI
Hartley, Garrett K NO @ATL
Steelers DST vs. CAR

SkankHos
Schaub, Matt QB HOU @DEN
Green-Ellis, BenJarvus RB NE @BUF
Turner, Michael RB ATL vs. NO
Tolbert, Mike RB SD @CIN
Jackson, Vincent WR SD @CIN
Maclin, Jeremy WR PHI vs. MIN
Hernandez, Aaron TE NE @BUF
Rackers, Neil K HOU @DEN
Chiefs DST vs. TEN

My QB position has been sh*t ever since Romo went down and I have still been able to win so I am not worried about it but I think BGE vs Buffalo and Vincent being back strong could be what gives him the advantage.

Lol Ronnie picked up Tebow and Collins so I couldn't lol. Wouldn't you think he would want me start one of them? I picked up Donald Brown to maybe play against Oak in flex

I will drop both on Saturday so you can get them on Monday if you really want them.

Agree with RJB...Cat's players all have favorable matchups. Fitzpatrick might not be such a bad play as chances are the Bills will have to be playing catch up

Quarterbacks

Matt Schaub
HOU @ DEN
Sun 4:05PM 22 18

Rex Grossman
WAS @ JAC
Sun 1:00PM
Texans QB Matt Schaub may not have been able to pull out the victory Week 15 at Tennessee, but it wasn't for lack of trying. He threw for over 300 yards for the third straight game, finishing 35 of 54 for 325 yards. He also threw two touchdown passes, a 12-yarder to Andre Johnson over the middle in the third quarter and a 4-yarder to Kevin Walter over the middle in the fourth. He did throw an interception in the second quarter, ending a poor first half in which he threw for only 98 yards, but he bounced back with big numbers in the second half.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More... Washington QB Rex Grossman had a career game in his first start for the Redskins Week 15 in Dallas and made the team forget all about Donovan McNabb. Grossman started slow but got going late and ultimately passed for a career-high-tying four touchdowns. He brought the Redskins all the way back from a 20-7 halftime deficit to tie the game at 30 apiece before David Buehler's field goal with less than a minute to play. Grossman came up just short on the final drive for Washington. Still, his four TD passes were the first time since Week 2 of 2006 that Grossman had that many. Grossman finished 25 of 43 for 322 yards with the four TDs and two interceptions an also had two 2-point conversion passes successful.

Running Backs

Michael Turner
ATL vs. NO
Mon 8:30PM 16 17

Chris Johnson
TEN @ KC
Sun 1:00PM
Atlanta RB Michael Turner managed only 82 rushing yards on 25 carries in the Falcons' 34-18 victory over Seattle in Week 15. It was Turner's lowest rushing output in his last five games and his paltry 3.3 yards per carry was his fewest since Week 10 against Baltimore (2.3). Turner has continuously bottled up by a surprisingly tough Seahawks defense that entered Sunday's game 20th in the NFL against the run. With Atlanta QB Matt Ryan collecting three touchdown passes, Turner failed to reach the end zone for the first time in five games -- one shy of matching a career high. The bruising back produced most of his yards in the second half -- 52 yards on 13 carries -- as he helped the Falcons run out the clock with a 24-point lead in the fourth quarter.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More... Titans RB Chris Johnson, who ran for a career-low 5 yards on seven carries when he last faced the Texans in Week 12, looked like a different player against them in Week 15. He got off to a slow start, rushing for 1 yard on his first five carries, but came to life on the team's second drive of the game, capping it with an 11-yard touchdown run. By the end of the third quarter, he was in top form, sprinting 42 yards on his longest run of the afternoon to set up a 7-yard touchdown run for teammate Javon Ringer. Johnson finished with 130 yards, reaching that number for the fourth time this season, on 24 carries. He also had a 7-yard catch.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More...

BenJarvus Green-Ellis
NE @ BUF
Sun 1:00PM 12 14

LeGarrette Blount
TB vs. SEA
Sun 4:15PM
Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis set a new career-high with a 33 yards rush in the Week 15 win over the Packers. What made it even better for him was the fact that it was a touchdown run, the 12th of the season for Green-Ellis. He did not see many touches after that play, finishing the game with just six carries for 38 yards and two catches for 12.
(Updated 12/20/2010). More... Despite being passed over in last April's NFL Draft, Tampa Bay RB LeGarrette Blount has become a major contributor to the Bucs this season. The undrafted Blount leads all NFL rookies with 777 rushing yards and is tied with Indianapolis RB Javarris James for the league lead among first-year players with six rushing touchdowns. He'll look to add to those totals in Week 16 against visiting Seattle on Sunday. Blount has reached 100 yards in a game three times this season, including twice in the last three weeks, to help Tampa produce the league's ninth-best rushing offense (122.1 YPG). In Week 15 against Detroit, Blount recorded his longest touchdown run of the season -- a 39-yard scamper -- and finished with 110 yards on 15 carries. It was the fewest number of carries Blount has reached 100 yards on this season as the Bucs trailed for most of the second half and were forced to pass often.

Wide Receivers

Vincent Jackson
SD @ CIN
Sun 4:05PM 13 14

Andre Johnson
HOU @ DEN
Sun 4:05PM
Chargers WR Vincent Jackson had a career-high three touchdowns last week against the 49ers. He finished with 112 receiving yards, his first 100-yard outing of the season. San Diego travels to Cincinnati in Week 16, a team that Jackson has faced twice in his career. In his last game against the Bengals, he had five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Cincinnati has been giving up 222.8 passing yards per game this season and 22.6 Fantasy points to opposing team's receivers each outing.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More... Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday that WR Andre Johnson (ankle), who didn't practice Wednesday, will likely be a game-time decision at Denver in Week 16.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More...

Jeremy Maclin
PHI vs. MIN
Sun 8:20PM 11 11

Mike Williams
TB vs. SEA
Sun 4:15PM
Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin scored a pair of touchdowns in a Week 15 comeback win against the Giants on the road. He finished the game with a team-high seven catches for 59 yards. Maclin caught an 8-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter on a drag route where he was left completely alone on the empty side of the field for the team's first score. He caught a 13-yard touchdown pass to cap an 88-yard drive late in the fourth quarter that tied the game 31-31. For Maclin, it was his third multi-TD game of the season.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More... Tampa Bay WR Mike Williams' list of fans continues to grow -- and now includes those who share his namesake. The Bucs' rookie earned praise from the league's other Mike Williams, who is a wide receiver on the Seahawks. The two teams battle in Week 16 at Tampa on Sunday. "Maybe he's the remix," said Seattle's Mike Williams, who was selected 10th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft but had been out of the league for two seasons prior to 2010. "Some people like the original and some like the remix. ... Seriously, (Tampa's Mike Williams) is for real. He's a great player." Williams has shined for the Bucs this season, totaling 58 receptions and 880 yards with eight touchdowns to lead all NFL rookies in those categories.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More...

Tight Ends

Aaron Hernandez
NE @ BUF
Sun 1:00PM 5 12

Jason Witten
DAL @ ARI
Sat 7:30PM
Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez was absent from practice Wednesday with a hip ailment. Hernandez was sick last week but still played in Week 15 and caught two touchdowns.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More... Dallas TE Jason Witten heads into Week 16 in Arizona on Saturday as one of the hottest tight ends in the NFL. He had 10 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown last week against the Redskins and has four touchdowns in his last three games. He currently leads all NFL tight ends with 82 catches and 911 yards.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More...

Flex RB/WR/TEs

Mike Tolbert
SD @ CIN
Sun 4:05PM 11 8

Donald Brown
IND @ OAK
Sun 4:05PM
Chargers RB Mike Tolbert has 11 touchdowns on the season and four in his last five games. Over that span he has 91 carries for 342 yards. Tolbert has been the most consistent and healthy back for the Chargers this year as Ryan Mathews has struggled to get into a rhythm. San Diego faces Cincinnati in Week 16, a team that isn't very good against the run. The Bengals have been allowing 120 rushing yards per contest. That comes out to 17 Fantasy points to opposing team's running back each game.
(Updated 12/22/2010). More... Colts RB Donald Brown had a career afternoon against the Jaguars in the Week 15 victory. With Joseph Addai and Mike Hart out for the game with injuries, Brown was the man running the ball. He rushed 14 times for a career-high 129 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came on a 43-yard run early in the third quarter. Brown was also targeted once by Peyton Manning and caught one pass for 4 yards.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More...

Kickers

Neil Rackers
HOU @ DEN
Sun 4:05PM 8 9

David Buehler
DAL @ ARI
Sat 7:30PM
Texans K Neil Rackers (hamstring) was unable to practice Wednesday as the team prepares for the Week 16 game against the Chiefs. "Neil (Rackers), just being smart with his hamstring," coach Gary Kubiak said. "Hopefully they’ll all be there when it’s time to go.”
(Updated 12/22/2010). More... Dallas K David Buehler was very busy during the Week 15 33-30 win over the Redskins. Buehler went 4 for 5 on field goals. His only miss came just before halftime and Buehler connected from 42, 20, 20 and 39 yards, respectively, in the game. He added 3 for 3 on PATs and finished with a season-high 15 points. Buehler nailed the game-winning 39-yard field goal with 55 seconds to play.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More...

Defense/STs

Chiefs
KC vs. TEN
Sun 1:00PM 14 22

Steelers
PIT vs. CAR
Thu 8:20PM
The Chiefs did not enter Week 15 as one of the league's premier defensive units, but they played like it in a 27-13 win over St. Louis. They limited the Rams to 224 total yards of offense, frustrating rookie QB Sam Bradford in particular, holding him to 181 passing yards. The Chiefs also sacked Bradford three times and picked him off twice late in the fourth quarter.
(Updated 12/19/2010). More... Pittsburgh faced a New York team that hadn't scored an offensive touchdown in 12 quarters in Week 15. But before they got a chance to take the field, Jets WR Brad Smith would return the opening kickfoff 97 yards for a touchdown. The Steelers entered the game allowing a league-best 60.1 rushing yards per game. Not only did they allow QB Mark Sanchez to score a rushing touchdown, but they would allow a season-high 106 yards on the ground to New York. Pittsburgh was without Troy Polamalu though, which hurt the Steelers. When Polamalu plays Pittsburgh allows 3.1 yards per carry, compared to 4.2 yards when he's out. The Jets would average 3.9 yards per attempt in Week 15. The Steelers would not force a turnover and sack Sanchez just once in their 22-17 loss.

The 13pt difference is in the defense.

you are right. This matchup depends on Pitt tonight. I need at least 30 points out of them or I have no shot

Definitely a good start. Thank god they said Addai was playing this weekend and I had to take Brown out to put Wallace back in. Still think as much as Pitt dominated that game, they should have put up more points. Ugggg
