Did I miss something on Portis?

Is he bad now?....... I have decent backup runningbacks so I put a message in my league that i would give him up for a top 2 round WR....no offers so I offer the last place guy Portis/E. Royal for Owens...i threw in Royal because he doesn't have any backup WRs.....keep in mind that he is 0-2 and his starting RBs are Justin Fargas and Fred Taylor who combined with his 3 scrub RBs on the bench for less that Portis by himself.....he declines and says "LOL"......is Portis a joke?

Portis is OK, but I would not trade you TO for Portis and Royal either.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Combined?.......So you think he's better off with Owens/Fargas than Portis/Royal?.....i think Owens is going to put up a ton too(thats why i want him) but I dont think it'll will be a significant amount more than Portis...also there's no point in playing if your starting RBs are taylor/fargas with only 1 stud WR

only thing I can think of is Portis is hot and cold from week to week - I have him...

TO s pretty much a garantee every week for a TD and 80.

I do agree with you point, but it's hard to give TO away... Royal's look are bound to decrease.

Can you explain your reasoning for this?

Marshall caught 18 passes this week! You surely cant mean that his will increase. Once teams start double teaming Marshall, Royal will get even more looks in my opinion.

Already in the hole 0-2...he is going to keep his best players. Fargas is down but too many 2 RB teams now to hold him off a waiver wire Earnest Graham of last year. Esp if someone wants to give you a tier2 player for a tier1 WR. And you prolly have somethin else he would want u to have to give up..say a QB or DEF you dont want to give up.

Im sure u threw in Royal cause he is your "unnecessary" WR. You prolly just insulted his fantasy football knohow and now you wont get a trade w/o major lossage for u. And on top of that...(IF youre in a competitive league)... you prolly have 3/4 of the league lookin at you as a greedy chit now because you're trying to prey on the weaker. Good Luck.

I offer a guy that had 1600 yards and 11 tds for a guy who had 1300 yards and 15 tds thats preying on the weak?? ...tier 2 for tier 1?....I drafted Portis before he drafted Owens..... as I already said I threw in Royal because he only has 1 WR not in his starting line-up and that Stuckey who is useless...and I actually started him over Roy Williams in week 2 so no he's not "unnecessary"

the difference between Portis and Fargas is going to be about 12 pts a week and Owens will average about 7 points more a week than Royal....or potentially 0 points difference if they both continue on the same pace as the first 2 weeks....and explain the upside of keeping your team the same when your down 0-2?

Owens couldnt score more points than Portis by himself last year but now he's going to beat him and #2 WR on a good offense.....well he's off to a tough start down by about 20 points after 2 weeks

What does last year have to do with this year

We can compare after week 16
