Draft Questions

trying to get a feel of what everyones doing and feedback of what i might. draft is live sunday, dont know draft order yet. ppr, 10 pt pr 10 yards, 4pt pass td, 6pt rush/rec tds. 12 team league, 20 players per team.

1qb
2rb
3wr
1te
1flex
1k
1def

QB - 2 top tier, brady brees. im thinking of passing on both if available and getting a middle tier qb later.

RB/WR - going to prob load up, prob 1st 4 picks.

TE - is anyone overdrafting here, maybe going 3rd or 4th rd on a TE. only maybe 5 real good ones. if available i might try and take a top tier a rd early.

K - will hold out as long as i can, kickers are a crapshoot, any kicker will be fine IMO

DEF - this is tricky, i saw pitt go in rd 7 in some mocks. i dont know if i can take a def before rd 10. this is where im focusing alot of my attention now scouting defenses to find value in rds 13-16.

what are you guys doing? is anyone going to overdraft a position or really holdout on one? praying i dont get the #1 pick i dont want it at all. cant win a league with a 1st overall pick but you can sure as hell lose it. i want 5-7.

ive got 7 mock drafts, 3 sleepers/busts, 2 rookie reports, and 1 mock draft of players that wont be drafted and to watch out for.

anyone taking westbrook & LT in rd 1 is psycho IMO FWIW.

In the first couple of rounds, I take the best RB or WR available and load up on them. After that, I see what QB or TE is available and try to grab them. There are only a couple of TE's worth to take. Last year I took Dallas Clark in the 6th round because there was no other TE's I wanted. Kickers are different every year and the points are so close together, nobody should draft them until the end. Defenses are tricky. People love to take them early, but you have to take them towards the end. I got lucky last year and took the Titans near the end and they were so dominate.

I always find it funny when people keep drafting RB in the early rounds and end up with second rated WR and no TE's.

I'm wondering if LT falls into the 2nd round, so I can scoop him up.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

my strategy changes every year. i feel right now there are a good # of choices @ qb. brady, brees, manning (both), rodgers, mcnabb, romo, palmer, roth, rivers, warner, hassleback, ryan. id be ok with any of those @ the qb slot.

im really focusing on RB this year, every team, except maybe the bears has a bonifide 2nd RB, so im trying to get the best of the best bc everyone is sharing carries.

if anyone cares, i think ginn jr is a good sleeper pick thats my guy this year

I never go in with a strategy because different people do different things. I know somebody that does 10 mock drafts lol. Those people may be smarter or dumber that the people you are drafting with lol.
