Frank Gore vs. Michael Turner

my draft is not until Labor Day, but that will be here before we know it. I am pretty certain that the first 4 guys in my draft (modified PPR, 1 point for every 3 receptions) will be Johnson, Peterson, MJD and Rice. The guy with the # 5 pick in my league is locked in on Andre Johnson. I am told that the guy with the # 6 pick is going to grab Aaron Rodgers. Leaving me to choose between Gore and Turner at # 7.

Now while I don't think Westbrook will impact too much on Gore, it would seem obvious that he is going to vulture away at least some receptions. Reports on Turner out of camp have him as a beast.

The one thing that concerns me about Gore is that SF may stay with that spread offense they went to last year. I haven't read anything on it either way, but that would definitely impact negatively (at least somewhat) on Gore. Wouldn't it ? The Niners do seemingly have a more favorable schedule.

So...what do you guys think ? Gore or Turner ?

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I do too. Which is why I am struggling with the decision. Gore is consensus RB5 while Turner is RB6, so it's not like Turner is a reach. In Gore's favor is a cakey schedule against some really shitty run defenses.

Not that adding Westbrook is a huge move, but it has to take away from Gore a little right?

Gore...improved oline...threats down the field with Vernon and Crabtree so cant stack the box.Gore catches more passes and Mike Smith said he'll lower the workload with Turner a little this year.Think you have to go Gore.Good luck Keith

that's my point. Maybe not carries, but doesn't Gore necessarily have to lose receptions to Westbrook, one of the greatest pass-catching RBs of all time ?
