Gambling vs Fantasy

Does anyone ever make a lineup move based on how they are betting a game? Personally I hate doing this but sometimes I wonder if I should or I shouldnt.

This week Im making a pretty big play on the Lions at Minny but my fantasy defenses are Minny and the Giants.

Now how stupid would I look not starting Minny hosting Detroit or am I just overthinking it and I shouldnt mix the two?........defenses facing the Lions this year have been solid plays or should I trust my gambling instinct and bench the Vikes and play the Giants who are on the road but I think will drill the Browns on the road?

PEACE

You should keep both separate. We were discussing this last Sunday when my cousin benched Dallas Clark because he thought Fasano was going to have a day. Clark comes out on the first drive for the Colts and catches a pass and he gets pissed even though he made his largest wager of the season on the Colts. We explained to him that he was rooting against money in his pocket next week instead of in January, and in this case more money than his fantasy football league cost to enter. The way I see it is I am usually playing more on a game than I do in an entire season fantasy league, so it makes sense to care more about the wagers. I keep both separate, start the best player available to me, and in your case there an example would be Detroit has a huge day and throws all over Minnys D, winning the bet takes A LOT of sting out of losing your fantasy game, trust me. BTW, like Det this week myself, good luck, how about a nice 10-0 Minny win

mix of the two strategys. its come into play for me.

for the most part i am betting tons more on the games than my fantasy leagues are worth so i don't pay too much attention to correlation

just hope you win both. I'd only be concerned if an over/under was conflicting with my fantasy
