Actually in the Cappers Mall league we have the same exact issue (a tie). We are waiting for a response from CBS to see if they have a standard rule or tiebreaker. What are you guys doing?

In our league if there is a tie, we go to who's defense scored more points.

In the league I'm in, we do total yards of all the players started for both teams to break ties

We do not use decimal points in my league, but in the event of a tie, we take our 2 RB's and our 3 WR's and break their yardage down into decimal points... 55 yards = 5.5 points...... Good luck in whatever you do.....

We use decimals now in scoring because of a rash of ties last season but in the past we broke a tie by total TDs scored by starting players including the team D used.

I got an idea. You and the guy you tied with should take it to the streets....... whoever makes it back inside is declared the winner

Jack, I got this from the CBS rules page:
Wins & Losses
For each head-to-head matchup, the team with the greater number of points will earn a Win and the team with the lesser number a Loss. During the regular season, if two teams have the same number of points, each team will get a Tie. During the playoffs, there are no ties. The team with the highest number of points scored by its 'reserve' (bench) players in that playoff game will be the winner. If this doesn't break the tie, then the team with the higher playoff seed gets the Win.

Here's the solution that we came up with for us since there is no rule in place. We are just playing the game again next week and the championship will be in week 17 I wanted to have a triple threat championship game but that got shot down by the guy that actually won his playoff game last week. This just goes to show you be prepared for everything, we weren't and this is what happens. The guy that I'm playing though has got to be mad, we tied with that pick in the MNF game by Minny last night, and he has Westbrook who could have just ended it had he scored that TD. Hanging on by the skin of my teeth still, this guy has Brady and Moss, hopefully the now flying high Fins can keep them down for another week for me

It just also really sucks because I would have won just about every tie-breaker situation I have heard since I've asked everyone today. The only one that I would have lost that you guys have suggested is Defense points
