if you're going to play fantasy football, at least make it somewhat close to actual football lol

h2h is the way to go if you are a competitor

I don't think u get it bro... its nothing like actual football. You argue if scoring the most pts was the only thing pats/saints or whatever would have won the SB... argument doesn't even hold water. In real football teams develop a thing called chemistry which is a huge part of the game... this obviously cannot happen in fantasy football. There is 1 goal and 1 goal only in fantasy... that is to score the most points. If you are in h2h league you put together the team you think will score the most points each week to beat your opponent... if you are in a points league you put together the team you will think earns you the most points so you have a shot at the end of the year to be the overall points leader. Given the same team and same strategy you will end up with the same # of points at the end of the year whether u are h2h or points league. This is simple..basic...no if ands or buts...this is HOW it is.

I am not arguing about what is more fun... or what makes things more interesting. Or what makes it appear to be like regular football. I am just saying that if you are betting your goal is to find an edge... and if you decide to go the head2head route instead of total points you are giving up whatever edge you think you might have been able to give yourself after a good/bad draft. Its like taking a Saints -3 -110 and deciding to bet your friend at work say saints -9 +100 for the convenience of it.

Now on the flip side most people playing fantasy like the guys you work with are use to head2head so they are going to roll with it rather than do a total points league probably. Its cool... I don't care people just go ahead and do your thing, but just don't argue with me that h2h is the way to play fantasy for cash. There is no argument for it other than the fact it will be easier to fill leagues.

lol I don't even know what this means. If adding more luck to the game makes you more competitive then I guess you are right... maybe ?

Cuse......it's simple. If you just go total points then where is the week to week competiton? H2H provides competition on a weekly basis. Total points is lame.

i would agree with total points being used in the playoffs........lame if the two highest players end up squaring off and some guy with 50 pts advances in the other round
