Jahvid Best out until week 10; or longer...

News: The Detroit Free Press reports Lions RB Jahvid Best will be held out through the bye week and could return in Week 10 against the Bears. Best, who missed Detroit's last game due to a concussion, did not practice on Wednesday. Best said that his headaches have mostly subsided and he is feeling “pretty normal,” but he is likely to miss Week 8 against the Broncos. “It’s really yet to be seen,” coach Jim Schwartz said. “But I think, again, I sort of press a button when I start talking about concussions -- every one’s different. Some guys respond differently. And you can’t put any of them in a box."

I think they are being careful with him. He says his headaches are gone already so hopefully he wont have any setbacks and returns week #10 ?
Thay have the bye in week #9 so that should give him the rest.

Almost sounds like Percy Harvin from last year.....he mentioned the lights bothering him after the game. I think Best is in and out of the lineup the rest of the year.

Losing Best doesnt help the Lions thats for sure but they are lucky to have a couple other backs that can carry the weight...they are also lucky enough to have a defense that can keep them in most games, not to mention megatron who is an effin monster

I'm in a couple leagues where Best was dumped. I missed all the waiver claims on him. I would definitely take a shot that he produces some more.
