just made this trade

waiting on league approval
traded S Jackson for J Flacco
what does anyone think?
I lose a decent rb but gain a qb. I am 4-2 but my qb has been Garrard the past few weeks and have picked up M Cassell last week to plug in this week. My rbs are R Rice and P Thomas so after this week my top 2 rbs are off their byesWill plug in T Choice this week which maybe a gamble. Feel like I may get a home run threat with Flacco to Rice. Bell taking some carries away from Thomas but NO has an easy schedule after Miami this week. Trying to p/u Maroney (he as burned me in the past) or Justin Fargas of the waivers. As I said looking for any feedback pro or con as I really respect many of the opinions at CappersMall.

I dont like it. You definitely need Balt to keep scoring alot of points as you know have the RB and QB. I would have held on to Jackson or tried to get more for him. SJax still been solid even with zero td's and I think he will get 6 or 7 by the time the season is over.

SJax schedule is decent moving forward as well. Just my opinion though and I could easily be wrong.

Cali
thanks for the input> I hear you about Jackson being solid but think B'more will continue to score points this year. Their D is getting older and this is a whole other team under Harbaugh than Billeck. Hope you are wrong but you make some valid points.

Mistake trade. Never trade an every down back for a QB like Flacco. Don't know how the rest of your team stacks up but I wouldnt make this deal...GL

I'm not hugely sold on Flacco, but with SJax playing for the Lambs (and not scoring), that seems like a pretty even trade.

Good luck with it.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?

once again, like any trade it's all relative.......

If you can afford to give up a back then I think you did good, cuz Flaco is solid.

It's not like SJax is gonna light the world on fire anyway....

Mr. City, Keith and Texas thanks for your insight.
I am having second thoughts but what done is done. Texas I agree and think Flacco is solid, better than anything I had and as Keith said, S Jackson has not scored yet this year. was going after Maroney and Fargas on the waiver wire and got Fargas. Ok was a 10th in running last season so their is potential there. Time will tell on this one.

GL. Just don't bank on Fargas carrying your team.
