Last week Reg season!

Ok, here are some decisions im mulling over, usually wait to post til later in the week after Ive thought over it but have some time now..... they come from 2 diff leagues...

QB-
Garcia at Car
Garrard at Chi
Favre at SF

Figuring Favre

QB
Favre at SF
Rivers vs Oak
Romo at Pitt

Romo must start but with that Pitt D, the weather, and the field thats tough.

RB
Westbrook at NYG
Forte vs Jax
MJD at Chi

Figuring 1st 2, Jax is cooked and look it, Forte is must start and after last week BW seems to be fine.

3rd WR (w Boldin and Colston)
Holt at AZ
Hixon vs Philly

FA's Gage vs Clev Toomer vs Philly Jenkins at NO

Youd think Holt could do something but im leaning Hixon. This is obv the toughest choice of all. Most others are pretty easy but just thought Id throw all most of the ones Id actually have to think about

that's how I would lean... They're both spotty... one is playing a tough D, the other is playing well... a D...

QB-Favre at SF
QB-Rivers vs Oak

RB-Forte vs Jax (see Steve Slaton vs JAX on MNF)
RB-Westbrook at NYG

WR-Boldin, Colston, Hixon

Love Hixon this week because without Plaxico Bullshit, Eli's got Toomer (old reliable), Boss (new best friend), and Hixon (solid deep threat, quick as the wind).

Yea I like Hixon with Plax out. Rivers just scares me as SD is DONE. Theyve just quit. And Oak only strength is their D and obv with Aso at 1 corner I just think he may have some trouble. Anyone on SD just scares me right now. But the Romo matchup scares me with the weather

I take Rivers over Romo only because a) SD has no run game this year and b) look what Pitt did to Cassel. OWNED him! (got -9 pts from him this week )

Just my thought process, that's all.

I would never choose Rivers over Romo--unless it was a blizzard in Pittsburgh.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

Sun
Dec 7
Snow Shower
30°
21°

40% straight off weather channel. that being said i think romo is fine,(keep an eye on it), plus if barber is banged up..etc... because rivers and the chargers packed it in...

as far as the other qb. i think garrard has plenty success throwing against the bears, especially since they wont be able to run, remember ferrorotte like amazing against them. all that being said, i think the jags are mailing it in and fear any of them. my analysis on favre is that they have been able to do what want on the ground. so he is due either for a big day or a stinker.. and thats why i fear favre. that leaves garcia, ugh. ride favre

forte, bwest, yup. although i think mjd has success on the screen draw 3rd down etc.

the other wr. wow toughy. if i had to go gun to my head..id take the bullet. choose hixon or toomer, gage and jenkins not enough targets, is bess available? plenty targets there. i think hixon, toomer was big last week...he wont do it two weeks in a row.. imo.

post something later in the week and ill take a look, its only tuesday, i have a bit of homework to do on these things ...

Week 7 @ CHI - G. Frerotte 25/40 - 298/2/4 (sacked twice)
Week 13 vs CHI - G. Frerotte 16/25 - 210/1/1 (sacked twice)

If a mediocre QB like Frerotte can do that against the Bears secondary, then anyone should be able to right? Well, consider this:

The Vikes have Adrian Peterson. The Jags do not.
The Vikes have a legitimate deep-threat WR in Bernard Berrian. The Jags have Matt Jones, who's now suspended for the year.

While Garrard is definitely the better QB, he has less weapons to work with.

Just my thoughts.
