lopsided trade but it might make sense for my team?

guy offers me witten and chargers d

for deshawn jackson and jamal lewis

already have ap, jones drew and chris johnson and have santonio holmes and brandon marshal at wr with some decent bench guys like dwayne bowe.

im starting scheffler at te right now

sounds lopsided but if i took it my lineup would be pretty stout

brees
ap
chris jonhson/jones drew
santonio
marshall
witten
chargers d

any thoughts?

I would NOT do that deal. And yes I know it improves your team, but I think you are not getting enough value for what you are giving up.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

You also have to think does this make his team a lot better?
I was in the same situation and decided against a trade because my team is already very good.

I have Scheffler at TE in one of my leagues as well.
Chargers D will not be anything special after Merriman gone.

Is Buffalo available?

I think you are basically giving up Jackson and Lewis for Witten.
I would steer away because you already have a good team.

AP, MJD, Lewis, and Johnson are 4 good backs.

You start 3 rb and 2 wr in your league?

Ah San Fran..w/Mississippi's own P Willie at LB...unfortuanely he doesn't have a great deal of help....

Granted Merriman's out now, but SD is a very nice upgrade over SF...

Always tough to give up a decent RB2 imo, and I think DeJack will have a good year...but I'd probably make the deal as a good D can carry you a long way...Witten no slouch either - GL

You can always look at matchups and pick up a D off the waiver wire. There is always at least 1 Defense on the waiver wire that is going up against an inept offense. Pick a new D week to week
