My 2nd Team and Last Team....

Yesterday was with a teammate, this league ive been in for 13 years now.

hate my team. wasnt at the draft and every time ive ever drafted remotely i havent done well that year

had 2nd pick. 12 teams. very standard scoring....start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1K, 1Def

$250 - 12 teams.

Round 1 - MJD
Round 2 - Ryan Grant
Round 3 - Anquan Boldin
Round 4 - Dwayne Bowe
Round 5 - Larry Johnson
Round 6 - Lee Evans
Round 7 - Donavan McNabb
Round 8 - Rashard Mendhenhall
Round 9 - Pitt D
Round 10 - Earl Bennett
Round 11 - Nate Washington
Round 12 - Matt Cassel
Round 13- Dustin Keller
Round 14 - Jerome Harrison
Round 15 - Kris Brown

so most likely starters

QB - McNabb
RB - MJD, Ryan Grant
WR - Boldin, Bowe, Evans
K - Kris Brown
DEF - Pittsburgh

Dan I actually like your team man. As long as McNabb doesn F up. SOlid QB, stud with MJD and a very solid RB in Grant. And deep WR's. Boldin is a stud when on the field and not complaining, Evans should have a nice year opposite TO, and as long as Cassell doesnt miss too much time Bowe is a very nice WR. Best D in football to go along. LJ and Mendenhall should be nice reserves.

Not a big fan of the 2nd half of the draft but I really do like your starters for a 12 team. GL man

There was nobody left for back up QB really. If he comes back in week 2-3 then fine. he is only going to be used one time ( hopefully)

I know Mcnabb will get dinged up eventually, so hopefully matchups favor me.

I think i have some depth, but like with any fantasy team, one injury could de-rail my season.

Agree thru round 7 you have a pretty good team, 2nd half of the draft it really fell off, but your starting lineup will be good and that is the most important.

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

agreed.

believe me, there was nothing left after round 7-8 worth drafting.

i went Earl Bennett just because he is starting for the Bears and Cutler knows him. Im happy to have the PITT D for obvious reasons, and as soon as Willie Parker goes down i have a top tier running back with mendenhall playing in that run first system. The rest is garbage.

kris brown K hou will do ok for me, but he's a kicker so no biggie

Boldin in the 3rd is very good assuming he stays healthy. He had more fantasy points per game than Fitz last year and finished 4th among wr's missing 4 games. I like Boldin alot, Waner does not play favorites among them two. Fitz goes in the 1st, Boldin in the 3rd, give me Boldin for that value! Bowe solid as well, and I think he has a very nice year.

Boldin injury risk, warner injury risk, new offensive coordinator, super bowl hangover...all reasons to be wary of boldin.

bowe, we've been over this, dont like that pick...then to add LJ...wow. gl is all i can say

ryan, trust me. if there were better options in those spots i would have taken them

LJ was sitting there as the last bigger name RB's available. Getting him in the 5th round is fine by me

like i said, i dont really like the team, but when you have 11 other teams taking the same guys you are then you dont always get what you want.

oh, im never that guy. i usually wait until 13-15th rounds to get it, but i was getting tired of taking garbage backups at that point and PITT D was the highest "projected" scoring option on the board

pitt d > keller, washington, bennett..etc..... IMO

Pittsburgh D has an extraordinarily easy schedule this season as well. If you are going to reach for a defense, they have the team and the schedule to justify it. In my league, a good defense can mean the difference between winning and losing in any given week.

no offense windy but defense in the 9th is a rookie move and not a winning strategy
