My week 4 mess!(Advice please)

Going into week 4 I face some roster problems.

BENCH: FRED TAYLOR(INJURED QUESTIONABLE)
BENCH: MIKE WILLIAMS(TB) BYE
BENCH: SANTONIO HOLMES(OUT TIL WEEK 5)
BENCH: SIDNEY RICE(OUT TIL WEEK 8)
BENCH VIKINGS( BYE)


This league had a $300 entry fee, charges $5 per free agent move, and you pay a $25 penalty for any week in which you intentionally field a line up with players that are out. Guys listed a Probable or Questionable will not get you penalized, nor will guys ruled out on game day.

Currently my team is 2-1. I hate to give away a week, but I am leaning towards making only 1 waiver claim. Dropping Fred Taylor for Green-Ellis, Darby, Marshawn Lynch. I have the 6th priority this week, and some of the guys above me will be going after Wr's and QB's, so I should get one of these guys. Problem is, it's really not going to help much. I can't possibly cover for all the holes. I can live with a loss this week.

Do I drop the MIN D and roll with the Saints until Week 10 just to pick up an emergency RB like M.Morris or W. McGahee(really all that will be there)?

Do I drop Flacco just to pick up an emergency RB for 1 week?

Do I try to sell high on Vick, and land a decent RB, not knowing how Moreno and SJAX's injuries are going to play out. A guy in my league is a little lite at QB, and has Foster,McFadden,Benson for RB's.

Do i just eat the loss this week, sit tight, maybe try to deal flacco for a mid level RB2 and move forward most of the season with this line up

Sorry for the long post, realy looking for some different angles here. I am strongly leaning towards fielding a partial squad this week in hopes of kicking ass the rest of the way.

You may be better off taking the loss. This is a true mess you have here with the injuries.
I am in a similar situation. Cant offer much advice but best wishes bud!

Decide I do not want to pay the $25 penalty for fielding a guy who is out, and Mike Williams as much as I like him, will not be seeing much time in my line up when Santonio comes back next week. Here is what my waiver que looks like. Let you know what I end up with. The coksuker I am playing this week is already taunting me, predicting an easy win. He will choke on those words. Maybe.

Man I'm hoping Jackson plays. As it is, he has to be in my lineup just to keep me from getting the $25 penalty. He will not be ruled out til gameday, and this will not penalize me. If he plays, I think I have a chance to win. I landed Lynch(Who is starting again for BUF), and Knox with my waiver claims. Heres what I try to salvage week 4 with

They were. I went back and checked the logs.

Edwards was dropped on 9/22 for DeShawn Wynn....WTF, then the guy dropped Wynn for Chris Ivory.

Knox was dropped on 9/15 for Fred Taylor by me. Hahaha. I didn't even remember having him on my team. Now I have him back.
