Need some early help on my 1st pick

Hey guys,

I know it's early, but I wanted to get some of your thoughts about my situation. I will get the 1st pick this year since I had a terrible 07 year. I am in a keeper league and these are the guys that are going to be kept. P. Manning, T. Brady, Westbrook, LT, A. Peterson, Addai, Romo, M. Barber, M. Lynch, S. Jackson.

I was thinking about LJ or Gore, what do you guys think? Do you think I should be looking at anyone else? Any comments will be useful. Thanks.

We have 10 teams and one per team. My keeper is S. Jackson.

I might choose Randy Moss or Terrell Owens with that pick. Both I think will outproduce LJ and Gore imo

LJ on a rebuilding team coming off an injury riddled season with a below average offensive line, so I'd pass on him @ 1st. Gore is very hit or miss, and you already have Jackson.

Since you already have Jackson, I'd lean Moss here. Don't expect the same numbers as last year obv, but still good enough to be a #1 with the players you have listed missing.

i would expect close to similar numbers...up towards 20 tds imo. Their defense is a joke and will be in a lot of shootouts this year

Thanks Guys!!! I always went with RB's over WR because you could get a good WR later in the rounds, but it is harder to get a good RB. If I don't get an RB with the 1st pick I won't get a chance till the 20/21st picks. There might not be any RB's left. But, I will really look at Moss and TO.

So Far, It looks like Moss, TO, maybe Gore? Anyone else?

if you are going WR, take TO over Moss. TO is in a contract year. He is playing for that one last monster contract. Moss just got that contract. He will return to being the slacker we all know and love.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

I like TO, but Moss and NE offense is hard to turn away. Do you guys think Gore will lose alot of touches with Deshaun Foster?

I don't think I will go with McGahee, I like Parker but he might not get the goal line carries and they are becoming a passing team.

getting a WR with the #1 pick would be a huge mistake IMO. you'll be able to get a good WR like CJ, Edwards, Wayne in the later rounds. but the dropoff in RBs from the 1st and 2nd rounds is huge.

What do you guys think about me giving up my 1st pick for M. Lynch plus one of his 3rd round picks? Do you guys think M. Lynch will be good this year?
