Not used to drafting from the 12th pick in a 12 team league...any thought on approach

I draft tonight in th 12th round and then tomorrow from the 10th to conclude.
Any thoughts on what to look for and how to approach it will be helpful as I usually get in the top six or better...ty in advance?
Its a ppr league.

I'm drafting tonight at 12 as well. I'm probably just taking top two players available, hopefully one of the backs I'm eyeing will still be there.

I don't think Mendenhall will be left but I'd jump on him if he was. I'm thinking if I want a back it will have to be a Benson or I might even have to reach & grab Matthews. I'll try & take a running back with one of them. Hoping Andre Johnson is still there & I'd go quarterback if Rodgers is still there.

I'll also add it's a sucky draft to have to pick 12th. We screwed probably. Lol

Thanks. We may not be screwed tough as we can get the fluke RB that always seems to come out after an injury like in New Orleans last season. Bell or whoever that was? Thanks for the response and lets post our teams and see how we do afterwards. I'll post mine I should be done by 9PM let me see how you do Dr J. Good Luck!

Its not that I am that 'down' on Benson, but the Bengals play a 1st place schedule this year, they have more weapons in the passing game and the short passing game (Gresham, Shipley, and TO) that should take away some of Ced's TD's....Scott should be used more on 3rd downs.....and I don't think he is worth a late first, early second pick....

My RB ranks are CJ, RR, AP, MJD, Gore, Turner, SJax, DWill, Shonne Greene, Mendenhall, Grant, Mathews, Charles, and Foster all in front of Ced.....

I like your top 8 & would put mendenhall at #9. I worry LT will take a bunch of Green carries & Grant killed my team two years ago so staying away from him most likely.

I'm intrigued with Charles & Foster but don't know if I can take them at 12 or 13 although I may not have a choice.

Benson - was thinking the passing game would open it up for him but you may be right.

I have Matthews in two leagues including a big money league so hesitant letting it ride in another league on a rookie. I'm hoping someone else falls to me

AT the 12th position of a ppr league I would be looking for something like Moss and Brady combo maybe even a Wayne Manning approach. If that wasnt their I would look to grab the top elite WR's left on the board. If their isnt a combo like that then I go top players left as a fail safe.

Thats a good thought...combo up with the first two picks cause you know you are missing out on the big RBs. Thanks it makes sense Brew Crew!
