Opinion on a Trade Offer

I received an offer to trade my quarterback-Derek Anderson for Chad Pennington and Jamal Lewis? I don't think this is a good trade, but would like feedback on what to do?

hell no... Instead of having one guy that sucks (right now), you'll have one guy that will suck all season and one guy that might suck all season...

who is your backup qb?

what rb's do you have?

if your other qb is solid, and your rb's aren't gold, i'd do this trade in a heartbeat

I think we'll see Anderson get replaced within the next 3 weeks...that being said, I think you can do better than Pennington & Lewis

Another reason to keep Anderson. Pennington is high percentage/ high risk option. Take a look at the secondaries he will be up against in next 4-6 wks. Do you see an advantage? Unfortunately Parcell's power run-it attitude will take precedence over throwin at those weaker secondaries. Only in obvious passing situations will he be throwing...and he has that lob throw that has I-N-T written all over it. If he'd just speed that throw like he did in wk 2...would be a good "safety" option...but u could find better I think. IMO.
