Ryan Matthews

Think he'll be any factor whatsoever this year?

I have him in my big money league & only 3 weeks left before playoffs start. It would be nice to get something out of the guy. Getting lucky using a weekly replacement but that will run out

What you think?

I don't think there is a better option available on the waiver wire. My guess is he's active next week but watch practice reports

It would be nice to see both Tolbert and Mathews on the field at the same time

he wont do shit this season Jack. Ive already accepted it. I would play tolbert every week over him. Tolbert looked good last night so i doubt hes going to give up many carries for Mathews return.

jack they have a really nice matchup and you saw last night that norv likes to run the ball when they arent trailing the whole game. I think secretly maybe the chargers wanted to give him, gates and a few other guys an extra week seeing as they were comfortable they could beat the broncos at home. We'll see, i'll keep you updated

norv loves the screens and tolbert isnt that good with them...plus he fumbled last night and nearly a second time. Norv was obviously pissed about that...if Mathews is healthy enough to go he will get more touches

lol yea right. Give it up this is NOT his year. He might be healthy and used by the time the REAL playoffs come around but NOT fantasy playoffs

ok lol...did you see how pissed norv was that he fumbled? he's fumbled more than mathews this year. He would have benched him if he wasnt the only healthy back. If he's healthy I think he plays this week and will get more touches than Tolbert...that's my opinion

look i know Norv was pissed but cmon even if Mathews gets more touches when hes healthy hes going to be a shitty fantasy option.

He was basically a waste of a pick this season. I wont play the guy unless 4 different RB's on my roster are hurt, including Tolbert.

Yahoo is probably wrong, cause we know rjb is never.

Mathews lost 3 fumbles, Tolbert 2, and almost 30% more carries, rushing the rock and receiving

So the same number officially, there have been a number of close ones from him including last night. He's also fumbled two of his inside the 5 of the opponent...Mathews had 2 of his 3 in his first 2 games and 1 in all of the touches since. Tolbert still carries the ball unprotected through traffic
