Question Week 5 Fantasy Questions

Cappersmall2 League...

I thought I'd get some opinions, even though I'm pretty set on who I'm gonna start this week, maybe someone can sway me.

QB - Rivers is on bye week, my backup is Sanchez vs NE, or on waiver wire available is K Collins vs Indy, S Hill vs Atl, D Anderson @ Buff, or S Wallace vs Jax. I'd actually like Wallace, he's put up great fantasy numbers the last 2 weeks as a starter, but don't know what Hasselbeck's status is, and don't want to pick Wallace up if he's not gonna start.

Flex - Forte is my flex guy, and on bye this week. So my options are Cadillac @ Philly, M Bush @ NYG, Bowe vs Dallas, Cotchery @ Mia, or Manningham vs Oak.

Defense - Broncos vs NE or Cowboys @ KC

My leans are Sanchez, Cadillac and Cowboys.

What do you think?

Flex is the one spot I'm kinda unsure about, so I'm glad you agree on the other two.

I like Cotch too, just didnt want all my eggs in one basket with him and Sanchez - That's my only concern there

yea i just think he has the best matchup. mia secondary terrible and sanchez gives him a lot of targets. mia run defense pretty good so i see them throwing it a decent amount.

bowe is gimpy, and likely will be shadowed by newman, which isnt good for any wr. not to mention the kc pass offense is a joke.

caddy, while he should get a decent amount of carries is at philly with a rookie qb. which means, they probably wont get a ton of offensive production and philly prolly stacks the box. also likely to be playing from behind most of the game so not a whole lot of runs

I agree with every single thing you said there. If I didn't have to start Sanchez this week, I think Cotch would be a no-brainer for my flex spot..

also with my team and matchups, I think I'll be okay with 1 of those 2 spots doing well, I just don't want 2 bombs..

What about Manningham against Oakland? I know Eli loves to throw to Steve Smith, but with Awesome-way on him, maybe Manningham gets more catches. Eli's health also a concern there.

oak pass defense pretty good and oak run defense pretty bad. with the stable of backs that the giants have, eli hurt, i think they pound the rock as much as possible. maybe best option is start cotchery and get another qb

cbssportsline predicts 8 points each for cotch and caddy

and 13 pts for manningham and 12 points for bowe

seneca wallace is garbage, dont play him. sanchez and Hill are the safe picks, derek anderson has the most upside.

If Bush is getting the goal-line carries, I would start him at flex.
