Question Would this be crazy/stupid???

Hearing there is going to be some rough weather in New England for the Pats/Cardinals game...

I've had Kurt Warner almost all year and he's done well, but am I crazy to consider dropping him for the championship this week for one of the following...?

Eli Manning vs Panthers
Chad Pennington @ Chiefs
Matt Schaub @ Raiders
Matt Ryan @ Vikings
Tyler Thigpen vs Dolphins

I bolded the two I was leaning toward strongly if I was to do this, but is it a dumb move???

also, am I crazy for starting the Lions' Jason Hanson @ home against the Saints @ kicker?

he's owned in only 4% of the leagues this year, but he kicks some bombs and I think the Lions will get some points Sunday.

There are a ton of other options out there, but he stuck out as a dark horse.

Dude.......JUMP ALL OVER SCHAUB!! That offense is rolling and they will continue to do so against the lowly Raiders. Also, not sure if you knew or not, but Boldin is now a "game time decision" and many are reporting he probably won't play at all, which obviously hurts Warner even more. I would roll with Schaub for sure though. Hanson might not be a bad play either. Who is your kicker now? Is Hartley available? I agree with you that they will score and this could be a shootout. Good luck to ya.

i agree it's probably a horrible time to risk it and i'd probably never stop kicking myself if i lost because i dropped warner.

schaub would be the guy i went with i think if i decided to do it, anyone else?

IF - and that's a BIG IF - you plan on dropping Warner, you have to grab Schaub. How can you not like this matchup? He will light up the Raiders' defense, possibly for 350+ and 3-4 scores. Cassel did it. He can do it.

BOL on your title game!

west, take a look at the weather in new england. id go warner if possible, i doubt they will be able to run on new england, whether its because they cant or choose to not try. boldin out hurts, but i think playoffs is not a time to get too cute, but if its nasty like they think it will be, schaub is the plan i hope. i fear a monster slaton day and no need to run the ball. also avoid ryan, on the rd, will be playoff atmosphere, and hes a rook.

kicker, go with saints kicker inside, or any othe in good weather, this is why i always draft one kicker who plays indoors, on better teams each year. (we must carry two kickers, longwell is my second, i will never have jeff reed in again in a playoff game when there is 75 mph wind), good luck this weekend

man, this is rough

i feel like the texans might not have to throw much, like you said bearsden, and might lean on slaton and if they get ahead early will definitely not throw as much

i think arizona could be playing from behind a lot of the game too if boldin is out especially, but who knows

i mean warner has thrown 35+ times in over half his games this year its tough to bench that

i really have no idea what to do right now

Schaub would definitely not be high risk. He has put up great numbers, has probably the best receiver in the game right now(A. Johnson), and Houston is playing well and go against Oakland this week. Id play Schaub over Warner this week for sure!

definitely should have.

i woke up after the early games started and i'm stuck with warner.

i'm hoping he has some 2nd half magic because this sucks right now.
