Would You Trade....

Chester Taylor (sitting deep on my bench) to the team with Adrian Peterson, for Tony Gonzalez ? We do not start a separate TE, they count the same as WRs. We must start 3 WRs each week as well as a flex (which can be either RB/WR/TE). We get 1 point for every 3 receptions.

Tony immediately steps in as my WR3. I have Holt (he has to improve, right ?) and Cotchery as my first 2 WRs. Gonzalez to me is better than the rest of my options: Derrick Mason, Isaac Bruce, Kevin Walter, Javon Walker and Dante Rosario (just picked him up this week). I KNOW that Tony will see half a dozen balls and 60 yards every week. I think Huard throws it better than Croyle and that KC is gonna have to throw when they get down in every game.

What do you guys think ?

Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

i would do it, you would be plugging a big hole at wr and giving up a guy who is only valuable if ap goes down...its a risk but you gotta fill the need

that's what I think. We start 2 RBs (Barber and Jacobs) and then we have the flex. I will start Sammy Morris as my flex this week, although I also still have Jonathan Stewart (and Felix Jones and Derrick Ward) going forward.

Otis my man!

Absoltuley...with all that Rbee firepower on the bench you can afford to burn ol' C. Taylor for an immediate impact player at the WR3 hole - BOL

I agree as well.

Chester Taylor didn't play a lot of snaps and you get an immediate need at WR.
Also, he is giving you a top 5 TE for a top 40 RB.
He will also be in a dilemma when Minnesota has a bye week.

I don't understand when people want to load up on guys from the same team. Automatic loss when they have a bye imo.

Do the trade, you have jacobs and barber as rb along with solid backups.
Holt, Cotchery, and Gonzalez is a decent core for you.

Also, I would explore options on trading Holt to see who bites.

I wouldn't even think twice about this. Literally, pull the trigger as fast as you can.

agreed...his stock was terribly low at draft time, hard to believe, but it's gonna be even worse now. Hopefully he'll be ok for you in the long run.

thanks man. I can live with it if both he and Cotchery put up the numbers of a high WR2. Newly acquired Tony G. will put up solid WR3 numbers for sure.
