There are a number of different ways that you can tackle MLB betting action, but the most important rule of thumb with whatever strategy you pick is to stick with it! Never let the highs get you too high or the lows get you too low. You're going to have great winning streaks and horrible losing streaks, but if you have a tried and true baseball betting system of what works for baseball betting, stick with it, and never make exceptions. Play everything that your strategy suggests you should play!
Some baseball handicappers prefer to bet strictly on matchups. Take a team's offense and compare it to the starting pitcher on the mound, compare the bullpens, and factor in some home field advantage. Of course, not every strategy has to deal with all of these factors, but some do.
Other expert MLB bettors just try to look for weak lines in starting pitching matchups. This can be dangerous at times though, because the starting pitcher is one of just nine men (and in the American League, 10 men) that are used in the starting lineup and could be one upwards of 24 men used for a team in a game.
However, certain strategies almost always take the starting pitchers on the mound out of it. This is dangerous though, because as we have seen time and time again, a dominating pitcher can shut down the best of lineups. Any pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates is awful, but if you took that exact same pitcher and put him on the New York Yankees, the MLB odds wouldn't nearly be the same. These are things that you can definitely exploit with your baseball betting strategies that you will want to employ this season.
