But that should not bother offshore sportsbook players, as Johnson has only needed a solid finish to win the last two titles here. You can bet that if the chips were down, the No.48 driver would be the NASCAR betting favorite, as he proved with his dominating win at Phoenix last week after people started to wonder he was losing his edge due to a 15th-place run at Texas.
Other drivers to consider when going through your offshore sportsbook odds this weekend are, of course, any of the Roush-Fenway drivers. Outside of Roush-Fenway, Kevin Harvick (NASCAR Miami odds of +2800) has a 10.1 finishing average and five top-tens in seven Homestead-Miami races, and would be the best bet among this season’s winless drivers to take a checkered flag into the offseason.
