We’re celebrating the end of the lockout with great contests that are both fun and profitable. In addition to the NFL Survival Pool, we’re also offering a Handicapping Contest with a $2,000 Prize Pool!
To play in the Survival Pool, select one team to win (no pointspread) each week beginning with Week 1 of the regular season. If you are correct, you’ll move on to the next week, but you’re eliminated if you’re wrong.
Note you can only use the same team once. The contest keeps going until there is one person remaining.
Prizes: If you’re the last man standing and an active poster in the CappersMall Forums, you can choose between a paid entry to the 2012 NFL Hilton Contest ($1,800+ value), an iPad2 or $400. Inactive forum posters will win $200.

Survival Pool players are already peaking ahead to opening week with the spreads out. The biggest current favorite at Bookmaker is San Diego as 8 ½-point home ‘chalk’ over Minnesota.
That seems anything but a sure winner even without the pointspread as new Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb looks poised for a bounce-back year in a familiar offensive system.
Every other Week 1 game is projected to be close (within a touchdown), so there could be lots of early Survival Pool knockouts.
