The NHL Eastern and Western Conference finals are set after a thrilling second round of hockey with several series going all the way to game 7's.
The defending Stanley Cup Champion Detroit Red Wings are back in the Western Conference finals after their 4-3 series win over the eighth seed Anaheim Ducks. Anaheim was a 40/1 underdog coming in. They beat the number one seed San Jose Sharks and gave Detroit everything they could handle.
The Red Wings will now face the Chicago Blackhawks who dispersed the Vancouver Canucks in six games. In the beginning of the playoffs Chicago was 14/1 at Bodog Sportsbook to win the Stanley Cup.
In the Eastern Conference finals, the Pittsburgh Penguins learned their opponent Thursday when the Carolina Hurricanes knocked off the number one seed Boston Bruins in an overtime thriller, winning the series 4-3. Bodog had Pittsburgh as 8/1 to win the Cup prior to the playoffs. Carolina came in to the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in the NHL but still were a big underdog at 22/1.

For the series prices, Detroit is -215 over Chicago and Pittsburgh is -230 over Carolina.
