The New York Giants won the Super Bowl last team behind a very good defense led by an even better defensive line. The Giants led the NFL with 53 sacks in 2007. New England was next with 47 followed by Dallas with 46 and Seattle with 45. The Bengals were last with only 22 sacks.

The 2007 NFL individual sack leaders were Jared Allen (15.5) followed by Patrick Kerney (14.5) and DeMarcus Ware and Mario Williams (14).

The Greek Sportsbook has listed updated odds on the sack total of each NFL team. The Giants lost Michael Strahan who retired in the off-season and they will have to figure out how to replace those sacks. The Greek has posted their over/under sack total at 44.5. Only Dallas is listed with a higher total at 45. A quick look at all of the NFL teams and their projected sack totals according to the oddsmakers. Discuss it on the football message boards.
