Sold 1 at $18,000. Got my entire investment back including mining cost. I will continue to receive bitcoin from mining for probably another year plus remaining coins from original investment. What a great ride over the last 6 months.

I wish I would have bought more mining. I bought 1500 worth, not worth cashing out right now imo. I see a correction coming but really starting to believe it could reach 50-100k by end of next year. My only regret is getting drunk a year ago and losing 4 bitcoin in one night of poker on nitrogen. Was like 1k at the time, not it as a 70,000 loss. Fuck my life.

dont beat yourself up. you cant look at it that way. look at the guy who made the first bitcoin transaction and bought 2 pizzas for 20000 btc. there were plenty of people who bought at $200 and sold at $1000 only to watch what is unfolding now. i wish i had more. i used mine for gambling and purchases etc. shit i was giving away .01 as tips on nitrogen last year. its hindsight. if we didnt gamble and spend bitcoin maybe wouldnt be where it is today. there will be corrections. just keep some cash set aside for the dips. set your goal to acquire 1 full coin. that is all you will need to change your life. good luck

the best wallet for long term storage is a paper wallet.
goto
bitaddress.org is a trusted paper wallet generator.
print out your wallet load your bitcoins to it and put it in a safe place.
i bought a laminating machine on ebay and laminate them.
dont store your bitcoins on an exchange. if you dont have the private key you dont own them. be your own bank.

blockchain.info is an online wallet service which is pretty user friendly. desktop and mobile versions.
hope this helps

I just hope one day I can say I lost a million dollars one night playing poker. Will be able to retire comfortably if that ever happens.

What ifs? I took that 12K 2% loan and took Rooffies advice and started a Bookmaker account with a 5 BTC parlay of my first days BDC picks then played round robins of 1/3 of my bankroll every week. I only had one 2 loss week (until maybe this week with the Saints losing), what ifs till Christmas?

Bitcoin futures open tomorrow at 6pm. lots of doom and gloom institutional shorting talk on twitter etc. i am usually a contrarian by nature so if we go up I think we easily go past $20k. Then again who knows it may be a non event?
If it does crash, look at it as a buying op. or an entry point for those who are on the fence.
Hodl!
Good luck all!

First. Where can I buy more, not at coinbase.com when/if the price goes down?

Second
What do you think of:
$487.46 ETHEREUM PRICE +$23.96 SINCE YESTERDAY (USD) +5.17%

Third

Here is an IF award; if Roy Moore is elected, I am donating to you at least 5000 points as I am giving mine away. I promised to donate any winnings of the political bet to our most valuable advisers and you have made some millionaires, I'm sure. It is only my listening to "old money" banking advise that I did participate in the winning. I do not approve of betting on politics but I use my winning as donations to other candidates.

That is very likely. Then they roll over their short Dec to short March 2018, and a few more short quarters until there are more short positions than bitcoins. Then the BTC owners will just go to bed and let the shorts bid the price up until it is >$100,000 or more. They will not read the "must deliver" part of the contract.

Message to all. When a broker/banker is giving advice and it will hurt his business, expect very conservative advise. (read "do nothing').

I bought $300 tonight on coin base. Probably smart just to set that aside and not use for gambling money.

almost 15,000 for a full bitcoin wow!?

Any opinions on the ethereum and litecoin available on coinbase? They are skyrocketing also.
