At least 14 dead as tornado hits Lee County

Auburn is in Lee County but it hit east of me.

by William Thornton

6h ago
Lee County’s sheriff is saying 22 people are dead amid “catastrophic” damage there following a possible tornado this afternoon.
At a late news conference, Jones said crews were still working as of 9:30 p.m. to secure the areas hit by the storm.
Shortly after the storm hit Lee County, a possible tornado struck near Eufaula’s Weedon Field Airport, according to reports.

President Trump will visit Friday. Likely to land in Montgomery at Maxwell AFB. Then a chopper to Lee County.

Traffic will be horrendous everywhere.

With Maxwell AFB the obvious choice, the Pres. is landing at Ft. Benning, Ga.

Good OpSec.

President Trump viewing the 23 crosses representing the 23 tornado victims.

They stopped about ten seconds at each cross.
