Everyone who says something like, "There's nothing in there, but you can't search my vehicle," always has drugs in their vehicle.

Our local paper/website always lists arrests, and I've always seen a lot of people charged with "uttering a forgery." I couldn't imagine that many people were giving cops fake names/SSNs/etc. until I watched Live PD. It seems like half the people with warrants try lying to the police about who they are.

Like nearly everyone they pull over has warrants, and last night Dan Abrams said there are over 800,000 current federal warrants out, and even more state/local. I'm starting to think, "Damn, do I have any warrants?!?"

How many members here have warrants? With numbers like that, you know there are some. Probably 10-20 maybe?

There are over 5000 things you can do to commit a felony under federal law, and more on the state level. Supposedly, nearly everyone commits 4 or 5 felonies every day whether they know it or not. If you think about just sports gambling, most here could get tagged with violations for the gambling, and probably wire fraud, tax evasion, conspiracy, and who-knows-what-else every day.

Of course there is prosecutorial discretion. Most of the time, cops and feds aren't going to waste their time on some little guy doing a little of this or that, when there are bigger fish to fry.

Just like when Live PD pulls over some guy with a tiny amount of weed or some residue in some glass. They generally give a ticket, confiscate, and send them of their way. Even that guy with 12 grams of nuggets, some wax, a couple stacks of cash, and his (legal) gun last night. He got away with a ticket. Now if you've got more than an ounce, and a scale, and maybe a gun, there's no way they don't take you in.

More, most likely.

Seems like it easy to let the warrants pile up if you're in a bad situation. Some of these people get a ticket or two, can't pay them, skip their court date, and suddenly they've got a warrant. Maybe their license gets suspended, next time they get pulled over, they get new charges and get taken in on their warrant. Then they get released with more fines and a new court date, and if they couldn't afford the first ticket, they surely can't afford the new fines. Next thing you know, you're out there giving the cops a fake name, or you run or resist because you feel like you've got nothing to lose since you already have a couple warrants. But the cops will almost always catch you or figure out who you are, now you've got a bunch more charges.

How about that girl with the dog bite last night? They said she had like 12 or 13 warrants for burglary. How in the world was she not in jail? If they let her walk out, they're letting a lot of people walk out with just a court date. I can imagine the anxiety for some people as their court date nears. Probably a lot of people think its easier to just skip it that face the music. Hence, a couple million people running around with warrants.

It also seems like these people who screw up tend to continue screwing up. Like these idiots with 20 unpaid tickets or 5 DUIs or whatever. If I knew I was out there with warrants, my license plate bulbs and tail lights would be in working order, and I'd have my seatbelt on and my hands at 10 and 2.

I thought the same thing when I was getting fingerprinted for my concealed carry permit. I was like “hope I don’t have any warrants”

Lots of these people the cops encounter out on the streets are just plain crazy. Seriously schizophrenic.

How great was it that the ham-eating Florida guy from a few weeks ago made it on again? That guy's a lunatic.

I think they said that big cop in Arizona is the in-studio cop next weekend. I like him. I don't think I'd have the ability to remain calm while someone ignored my commands 30 times in a row. I'd have more of a two-strikes-and-you're-out policy.

That guy was awesome and it was cool they remembered him. Was he saying his daughter owned the convenience store and she was calling on him? He was speaking some foreign languages at times.

Also, how about the 2 kids crushing 2 30 packs and the dude getting decked literally

Agreed.

Was saying the same thing last night. Last week Friday was good, but Saturday was kinda slow. Maybe it'll be the other way around this week.

Couldn't believe nothing was happening in Slidell. There's always drunks and DUIs to be found. They didn't even go there until about 40 minutes left in the show last night.

The end of the show was classic, though, with that dude in the truck who all about some Live PD. Was a funny exchange with that giant, Sgt. Brown, in Richland County.

I can't imagine working all week, then hopping a plane and spending almost every Friday and Saturday night in a NYC hotel. Getting home Sunday, going back to work Monday. Exhausting.

Pretty good show last night. Bunch of idiots who lie about having drugs, and somehow no one ever has their driver's license. Couldn't believe the "its not my jacket" defense used twice in the first hour. Who just goes around putting on random jackets?

The best was that chase from Mississippi to Slidell and back. What a crazy scene. Was blown away when the driver turned out to be female.

You watch last night? Absolutely crazy!

The end of that low-speed motorcycle chase? Saw them t-bone that car, and the girl on the back was like she was launched from a catapult. I think the guy's leg must've hit some part of the bike when he flew. I couldn't watch that guy laying there with his foot pointing the wrong way. Kept switching back to hockey. Did they even show the girl close up? I bet she was messed up. Heard her screaming.

Not yet. Watching Saturdays right now. “U wanna take this breathalyzer? No I’ll lose my license for a year. Don’t need to drive”
