My cat Lucy passed away today:
she was adopted from a shelter one year before I met Mrs Darth
our beautiful old cat Lucy passed away today
at home, with the help of a mobile vet
the sweetest girl, gave lots of love and stayed mostly healthy til recently, and never shed fur either lol,
her lungs and muscles started to fail her
her memory is with us furever

So sorry Darth. As a cat person I've lost a few and they all hurt but some more than others. Lucy looks like one of those special ones. Just remember when the time is right there are a lot of loving cats at the shelter looking for a good home. Take care my friend.

So sorry to hear as I have a 17 yr. Old cat who lives outside but comes in if he chooses... He has lived with several 150 lb. Dogs and acts just like a dog....When I walk in the neighborhood he follows me every step of the way....I dread the day when he's not around as they become family....I had to sit in a vets office recently and have a dog put to sleep in my lap, 160 lb. Lap dog....So sorry to hear, Knock!

RIP Lucy.

One of the toughest loses I sustained was my little buddy, whose name was Darth. Darth was an 18 lb Maine Coon cat and, most of his 18yrs was spent o/s stalking birdies.
