Need to get a withdraw from sports book using bitcoin. I open a coin base account to use it. My question is what is the process now . The sports book transfers to coin base then they transfer to my bank. Is that how it works. Please advice. Thanks

You need to get an online wallet. From book to wallet then coin base then bank acct. I use airbitz. There are others.

What information did Coin Base need from you to open an account to buy Bitcoin?

email address, bank account or credit card

Can get higher limits by verifying drivers license.

US Company so rinsing thru a wallet is best, heard stories of them banning transfers from known sportsbook addresses.

blockchain.info has a good wallet that is pretty user friendly. ive used it for years. the app is nice too for your phone. but yes as the others have said send funds to your wallet first, to and from coinbase.
after coinbase receives your bitcoin you just withdraw to your checking account. it will show how much you are getting after fees. usually takes about 3 business days for withdraw 5 days for deposit. but if you have a verified credit card you can buy and have the bitcoin immediately. they are actually rolling back out instant purchases for checking accounts but its limited right now.
seeing that you are newer to bitcoin i would recommend a small withdraw to just make sure you to try first. if you want to play around i can send you a little btc to play around with and get yourself familiar.
if anyone wants to open an account at coinbase please let me know. i can give you a referral code.
hope this helps

Roofies, I'm a little thick skulled, plus an old timer... But which does the user set up first :An account with Coinbase and then the blockchain wallet or the other way around?
I don't have a smartphone so am living in another century..

I'd start with coinbase b/c it takes a couple days to get it verified but go ahead open both simultaneous. Not gonna make a difference really. Think you can do up to $300 without verification. Remember transfer from credit card (until verified) to coinbase. Then after getting wallet coinbase to wallet followed by wallet to book. Entire process may take up to an hour to transfer b/c of certifications and approvals. Just copy and paste codes. It may seem difficult but it really isnt and is best, safest way to fund your acct.

Withdrawals are easy too. Just the reverse of the above.
Book--->wallet--->coinbase--->bank acct.

sent up a blockchain wallet on your laptop or desktop.
i will send you some bits to play around with.
the attached photo is your dashboard when you log in.
the only buttons you need to use are send and receive.

everything else is configured.

so to send bitcoin from your wallet you just put the address where you are going to send(example 1DHgrYdkrtW4kUxYCXeSzeXb66LaEm4ysj)
type in either dollars or bitcoin and send.

Thanks Roofies... I don't know that I'll do it yet. But I inch closer every day. I have to mull it over and see. It may simply be too modern for me.... I can " drag and drop", but not even sure I can copy and paste.... Some of this internet stuff never quite rubbed off fully on me... Not a big deal and I surely appreciate your efforts!!
