The Prayer Cappers Chain

Thought we all could use a little prayer thread. I am not insanely religious like attend mass every single weekend but growing up we went probably 95 percent of the time or more. Regardless I do believe in god and prayer. Today I am saying an extra prayer for one of my best friends and his family going through a really tough time. His brother (31 years old) killed himself this week after the struggle with mental illness and PTSD. He served two tours of duties. Very sad. He left behind 3 children. 2 boys ages 7 and 8 and one little girl 2 years old. RIP Wes and prayers to everyone in the family as they grieve for the loss at such a young age.

Thank you grinder, we will say a prayer for your friend and his family. For me the three little ones would be enough to keep you going. But, until you are there you just don't know. Two tours, of who knows what, would probably effect most of us. I hope your friends brother has found peace! Amen

It sucks, there is no way around it

After my brother made his decision I learned that everyone grieves differently, shorter, longer, publicly, silently, etc.... That can be difficult to cope with just as much as the situation.

My therapy was talking about. I am not afraid to talk about my brother and what he did, what he went through and his struggles because I also get to talk about the positive in the same conversation.

Stay strong for all involved!

Ughh hate hearing such bad news. But prayers needed for a recent graduates family from the school I teach at. The young man who graduated last year was driving home from a local community college and his brakes went out. Stopped and called tow truck and I guess while the tow truck was there he was standing by his car and another car driving on road wasn’t paying attention and nailed him. He was in hospital for 2 days and on life support but they couldn’t save him. Piece of shit driver who hit him took off. They have not found that car or driver yet. What a piece of shit. How could you sleep at night! Anyway I want to send prayers to his family and RIP Tony. He was a great kid. Very bright future. Damn
