What is your opinion on the current state of NFL officiating?

I thought on a whole the 2018-2019 season was officiated better than the season previous.

But still I'm dissatisfied with the state. Will go into reasons and Ideas later.

It used to bother me a hell of a lot more when there was no replay reviews. You would see a guy with only 1 foot in bounds or they would call a fumble and replay would clearly show his knee was down. There was nothing you could do about it and those bad calls used to drive me crazy. Now, with instant replay i am really not bothered by it at all. Nothing will ever be perfect but i am confident that they will get most of the game changing calls right.

I've been an advocate for a long time for officiating in major sports to be taken more seriously.

Examples.....better pay, make it a genuine career path for young people.

I find it bizzare that its not, given that these sports are multi billion dollar industries.
And officials have a crucial role to play.
