Lucky's Week 19 CFL Plays...

Well, another great week last week. Two weeks left in the season, let's finish it off strong boys...

10 unit play ***** Toronto - 6 over Saskatchewan - Bottom line is that the Argos have their destiny in their own hands. If they win and Als lose this weekend they get first place, if they win and Als win this weekend, the showdown for 1st place goes next weekend. Argos will be ready for this game and know what's at stake so they will come at this game with a playoff approach. The Riders don't have much to play for as they are guaranteed 3rd place in the West once again (doesn't this seem like Deja Vu?). Argos at home will get it done, take that to the bank folks...

15 unit play ***** Montreal -7 over Edmonton - Eskimos are finishing off one of the worst seasons in their franchise history and after being officially eliminated from the playoffs last week, they won't have much fire left this week and they will be doing more of a player evaluation in this game. Montreal has everything to play for with 1st place still a possibility and they will give it all they got to win this game at home and that's exactly what they will do. Als win big.

20 unit play ***** Winnipeg -1 over Calgary - Stamps have 2nd place locked up and have a bye next week in Week 20. They won't open up the playbook too much in this one and keep things simple trying not to give anything away going into the playoffs. They may even rest some players with tough injuries. Winnipeg will be playing its final home game of the season and they will come out and win this one for the fans. Stamps are a completely different team on the road and don't expect much of an effort from them in this one. Bombers win, take that to the bank folks...

No play on B.C. - Hamilton - Lions are in cruise control and even with a relaxed approach, they still have the ability to blow out the Ti-Cats. However, in a meaningless game anything can happen so I will lay off this one.

That's it for this week. Nothing big but enough to keep me interested.

Good Luck on all your plays this week!!!!!

Looking at consensus data, the public is split in the Calgary-Winnipeg game but most certain about BC. Probably BC -6 halftime should succeed. BC may be motivated to establish positive momentum heading into the playoffs. Whereas Hamilton may be content to audition players for next season.

Surprisingly, Saskatchewan defeated Toronto with incentive to clinch home playoff spot. Similarly, Calgary might be capable of an upset? Calgary doesn't have to rest starters because of few injuries and upcoming bye week. Although Calgary is a poor road team, Winnipeg (oddly) is subpar at home. Also Calgary is in better form while Winnipeg struggled against Hamilton recently. Furthermore, Calgary has won 4 previous meetings in a row.
