Fantasy Football help please

I've got Lamar Jackson starting as of now tomorrow night against the Jets. Worried about how long they may leave him in with his injury, and if they are up big at the half. I've got Tannehill on the bench who's been hot. Any responses much appreciated. Thanks boys!

Jackson is the #1 fantasy player in the entire NFL. If he's starting, I would go with him. You got to the playoffs thanks to him... i wouldn't try to get cute now.

Agree with Erik. He sounds fine to me. Ride the horse that got you here. Win or lose, don’t turn your back on him now.

They call it gambling for a reason. Some times everything needs a rest. I would go with Tanny kick his tires you never know how that could turn out.

You have to ride Lamar and like you said you're worried if they are up at the half they pull him. Well if they are up big at the half odds are he put up some good points already.

ocean, Good story. Well not really good for me but this is how badly a fantasy season can end when you over think things.

I was in the playoffs last week in 2 leagues. I was the 8 seed in both playing the 1 seed.

In the 1st league my QB's were Brees and Brady. I played Brees all year except for the weeks he was out with a finger injury. Every week. Last week i panicked because Brees was facing the great SF defense. I know Brady and the Patriots offense has struggled but they always play high scoring games against the Chiefs. I figured at home he might be a safer bet to throw a couple TD's against a lower ranked defense. I had Brees in my lineup all week until one hour before game time and i switched it. Brees got over 50 points and Brady got 12. I lost by only 6 points. It was bad enough that i hit panic mode and made the switch but i still could have easily won. Brady had a clear TD pass in the game and Harry was called out at the 3 yard line. No challenges left and they end up with a FG. Later on Myers drops a TD in the end zone. With TD passes worth 6 points in our league, i would have still won if either counted. Painful match to say the least. It still bothers me. lol

League 2 i got crushed by 55 points and i didn't even realize it until later in the day when i clicked on the matchup that i was playing against Brees in that one. So not only did i make the dumb fuck move of the year and get burned benching him, he also came back and haunted me in the other league too.

I tell myself EVERY year not to do something stupid come playoff time and ride those who got me there and i failed to follow my own advice. Fantasy football can play head games with you at times. I have no idea which one of your QB's will have more points this week but i would not bench the league MVP and fantasy king for anybody at this point. JMO

Wow Wayne, that IS some tough losses. Sorry about that for you. Like you have mentioned I may have been over thinking things and getting into panic mode because Lamar plays tonight and have to make a quick decision. Win or lose, I'm taking the man who got me this far and thanks again for everyones opinions/advice.

i, on the other hand, picked up Tannehill this week to play in place of Josh Allen (at PIT). Allen has done me well all year but I think I am making the right move in this case. We shall see.
But i still believe Lamar Jackson the right move in your case. If I could play him for Josh Allen this week, I would bypass Tannehill and take Jackson.

How many points is that now? You would have felt like I did last week if you had benched him and been soooo pissed!
