I stopped by the CFB board for some research on the LSU game, and ran across this thread. Sorry to hear the news. I can't believe I've been away from here for 6 or 7 years now. I remember debating Vince Young's pro prospects with Judge and a few of you regulars. I dont know if any of you remember me, but I will try to hang around here more often.

Very sad news in regards to the The Judge.
He seemed like a very intelligent man and he had a good sense of humor.
Sounds as though he had quite a fun life and enjoyed himself...Rest in Peace.

The Judge was a massive Texas Longhorn fan. So for years we always had side bets on the game. He loved Costa Rica and convinced me it that it's the perfect place to retire to. If I could get my wife to let me retire, we would move there now! Until then I'll think of my old friend every time my Sooners play that ugly burnt orange team South of the Red River. Salute Brother!
