Football Capping Contest
Entry Fee: $100 (PP ONLY - If you send PP, make sure you put NOTHING in the subject line except your CM name)
Send me a PM for PP information This contest will combine CFB and the NFL You will pick 4 games per week vs the spread. Full game Sides and Totals only You must pick at least 1 CFB and 1 NFL game. That means you can pick 3 CFB/1 NFL 2 CFB/2 NFL 1 CFB/3 NFL Win - 1 point Push - .5 point Loss - 0 points You get to choose. If your strength is CFB, you can pick 3 of your 4 there. If it is the NFL, you can pick 3 of 4 there instead. Saturday & Sunday games ONLY Deadline: *No entries accepted after the last CFB game starts on Saturday the 7th *You get 1 post per week and all 4 games must be included in it *All 4 games must be posted before your 1st CFB game starts on Saturday *If you do not post any plays on Saturday you will receive 3 losses for the day. You will be allowed to make 1 NFL play on Sunday but it must be posted by 1:00 PM est. Absolutely NO picks accepted after that for any reason. Lines: *We will be using closing lines from Las Vegas Odds, Sports Scores, Betting Lines at ScoresAndOdds.com for Canada Football, WNBA Basketball, MLB Baseball *If you are a minute late from the time listed you will get a loss for that game. This includes weather delays. The listed time is the cutoff time. *If there is a mistake on a line listed and it is way off, you will get a zero for that play *Instead of posting 100 lines each week and watching them change by several points, i am doing something different. *I realize you may have to post by noon eastern on Saturday and you may not be sure about active or inactive players on Sunday. If you are worried about it, avoid the game. There will be 100+ to choose from on most weeks *If you do play a game on Sunday and a big name player becomes inactive, you cannot change the play. The good thing is, the closing line will be adjusted to reflect it and you will not be stuck with a stale line from Friday Schedule: *Starting on Saturday September 7th *This will last all 17 weeks of the NFL season *CFB days later in the season may only include 1 game (Army/Navy), or Conference Championship games, or Bowl games. You still must make at least 1 CFB play in those weeks Posting Plays: *I will have the standings and weekly thread up by Thursday each week to post your plays in *Rotation numbers are a must. You will get a zero for any game posted without a rotation number *No need to post lines with games because most will change. There is no penalty if you do but it is not needed *Be clear with teams and totals listed. If you want Baylor type Baylor, not Bay. If you want over, type over, not o. Please, no abbreviations 17 weeks x's 4 plays = 68 possible points Not sure how many will enter with only a handful of days before it starts, but i may cap it at 25-30 people. Please do not wait until the last minute to sign up Good Luck!

Disclaimer: If you do not feel comfortable playing after things that happened last year, that is totally your choice and understandable. I will say this though, none of the issues involved me. I ran several contests and all were paid, including the SB squares and the big & small march madness bracket pools. Jack has no idea i am running this. I thought about doing it for a couple of weeks and i decided to post it today. My choice and my contest.
Please refrain from any negative comments. They will be removed. Let those who choose to play make that choice. Thank You.

I understand how some of y’all are nervous about joining considering what has gone down. Just want to say I’ve been playing contests with this guy for 15-20 years. Not saying it won’t happen, but the next contest someone gets screwed on one of his contests will be the first. Just my 2 pennies. Hope more join in!

sacpac and no nothings are splitting an entry so either can turn in picks. Probably a good idea. Split one with a friend and you each choose 1 CFB and 1 NFL game per week.
This is a small group but it should be fun and interesting guys. I think a few may regret not playing once it starts. It should be a battle!
