Andujar expected to come off IL Saturday

Clint will play with the Trenton Thunder in Harrisburg Saturday and Sunday ... Could be activated Monday

Tulowitzki has a "mild strain" again in his calf and is shut down for "probably a week" ..... Shocker

Hicks is getting ABs in Tampa and is 7-10 days from returning

No baseball activities for Judge, but improvements every day. He’s in the weight room and doing range of motion work. Boone says they’re not at a point where they can offer a timetable

Stanton is back in New York but Boone hasn't seen him yet today so no shoulder/ biceps injury update right now.

Didi is a few weeks away from a rehab assignment, Everything has been best case scenario so far ... June return is possible

The Yankees came into today having spent $16.2 million on their IL this season (way more than the next closest teams dealing with injuries):

Yankees $16.2M
Dodgers $9.9M
Mets $9.6M

This number still doesn't include Paxton who was added to the IL today

Unbelievable

Chris Sale threw the 95th immaculate inning in baseball history.

There has been about 219,000 games in history, just 23 perfect games:

≈0.0105% (1 in 9,522)

There has been roughly 2,100,000 innings in history, just 95 immaculate innings:

≈0.0045% (1 in 22,105)

at LAA 3-1 W
at SF 3-0 W
at ARZ 0-2 L
vs MIN 2-1 W
vs SEA 3-1 W

The Red Sox pitching staff has gone 14 straight games without allowing double-digit hits.

It's their longest such streak since going 16 games from April 15-May 5, 1991

Here come the Sox ...

Their rotation had an 8.79 ERA through April 11, the worst in MLB by more than a run

In the 26-game stretch since, they have a 3.22 ERA, lowest in the AL and third in MLB

They are now just 4 games out of 1st place, closest they have been since April 4

The Yankees have ...

Returned OF Aaron Hicks from rehab & reinstated him from the 10-day IL.

Placed RHP Jonathan Loaisiga on the 10-day IL (retroactive to 5/10) with a right shoulder strain.

Recalled RHP Chance Adams from Scranton

A loss that doesn't hurt in the least bit

Highest AVG this season (min. 90 AB)

Cody Bellinger (LAD) .407
Jeff McNeil (NYM) .360
Gio Urshela (NYY) .341
Jose Martinez (STL) .339
Christian Yelich (MIL) .338

Gio is also a better defensively over Andujar

YAWN.

The Yankees have acquired 1B/DH Kendrys Morales and cash considerations from Oakland in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

To make room on the 40-man roster, Jonathan Loaisiga has been transferred to the 60-day IL
