Stop playing and just announce he's done for the year

Severino will be re-examined on Saturday in hopes of resuming his throwing program

Cashman said he expects Severino will need “6 or more” weeks to be ready. However, he could be a 75-pitch starter or even used out of the bullpen

Jays rookies have an MLB-high 41 HR this season.

That is the most at the All-Star break by an AL team since the 1987 Athletics.

Yankees are 0-14 this season when scoring 2 runs or fewer. Only other teams that are winless: Royals (0-29) and Angels (0-18)

That shit won't fly in the playoffs when games get tight and low scoring

0 XBH today ... 3rd time this season (5/18 vs TB, 4/18 vs KC)

1 run scored today ... 2.3 runs/game in last 4 (9 total runs)

0 HR in last 2 games ... First time with back-to-back homerless games since May 8-10 (3 straight)

4 huge games in the Bronx this week. What the AL East race would look like on Friday morning ...

NY ... 4-0 (+10.0)
NY ... 3-1 (+8.0)
Split ... 2-2 (+6.0)
TB ... 3-1 (+4.0)
TB ... 4-0 (+2.0)

Only 2 head-to-head games after this, at The Trop during the last week of the regular season (Sep 24-25)

Yankees are 32-11 (.744) vs AL East, the best record by any team vs its own division this season.

MLB-best 25-14 (.641) vs teams with a winning record this season.

10-0 this season when hitting at least 4 HR ... 38-5 when hitting at least 2 homers.

10 games with 4+ HR is tied for 2nd in MLB (w/HOU & LAD)

Mookie Betts has now scored a run in 13 consecutive games.

The last Red Sox player to plate a run in 13 straight games within a single season was Ted Williams from April-May, 1946

Hi correct me if I'm wrong but the day before Michael K lost his voice I happened to come across his radio show and he was screaming at a caller, going nuts and now his strained vocal cords is that what happened ? I think so but that's not what there are saying. I haven't heard anything.

He was having throat / voice problems for awhile leading up to that radio rant.

Listening to him every night while watching games it was pretty obvious there was something wrong. It's actually been great with him gone ... Singleton, O' Neill and Cone do a fine job. I'm not a big Kay fan.

Jays have scored 52.3% of all their runs this season via their 136 HR (219 of 419)

That is the 2nd-highest percentage in the Majors

Yankees 30 games over .500 (63-33)

It's their best record through 96 games since 1998, when they were 71-25 at this point

Yankees are 64-33, their 2nd best record thru 97 games in the last 60 years.

The only season with a better record thru 97 games ... 1998 (72-25)
