Good luck with that deal. Glad the Astros didn't do a deal like that. At that price for that many years you can have him. Hope they get Correa next at 30 mil per.

If i am a Yankees fan i don't give 2 shits about years or money. It is the Yankees and they will ALWAYS have a boatload of cash to spend and it isn't coming out of my pocket. If they get 4-5 great years and they win a WS it was all worth it.

If you told me the Red Sox signed Cole for 10 years and 400 million, i would be celebrating. I don't give a fuck what they pay him.

Taylor swift makes 150 million a year, Norman Reedus on Walking dead 20 million a year and Mark Wahlberg made 68 million. I could give 2 shits if Cole gets 35-40. He is worth every penny, especially in a sport with NO SALARY CAP.

Congrats Yankee fans!

Yankees spent more money on Cole Train, then the Pirates have spent on free agents over the last 25 years....ain’t a fair fight.

The Dodgers' offer was 8 years for $300M, included deferrals.

The Angels' offer was south of $300M over 8 years with deferrals.

Get rid of him!

Front office and fans are deluded by the “team leader” and his “career year.” On other teams he would have been gone 2-3 years ago. He isn't a piece helping win a ring. Paying $7-8M for a pussy arm and somebody who absolutely sucks when it counts most in the playoffs blows my mind. Tauchman is such an upgrade over him in CF while Hicks is out.

This belief that clubhouse guys / cheerleaders / mascots contribute to success is such a false narrative. Yankees will never understand that.

One-year, $12.5 million deal. There is an option for 2021 that is valued at $10 million

What a fucking waste of money

I am not a brett fan or anything but in this market he isn't a bad insurance policy for your OF i guess. I know you hate him but the price isn't horrible. The thing that annoys me most with him is when he does things like bang the bat on the dugout. lol

Yankees' Brett Gardner granted protective order against fan

Fuckin weird bitch lol

NEW YORK -- A Bronx Supreme Court judge granted a protective order for New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner against a fan.

Gardner, 36, filed the request last week against Gina Devasahayam and said in court documents that she has "harassed and menaced" him and his family, the New York Post reported.

Bronx Supreme Court Justice Eddie McShan said he granted the request Monday because of "the possibility of injury."

Gardner has told the court that Devasahayam believes they have some sort of relationship, but he said they have never met in person.

Devasahayam, 46, told the Post outside the courtroom that they met on social media.
